I was walking past this little cabinet in the dining room and realized I have never shown you this area yet. We decided to move lots of furniture around in this little rental a few weeks ago. Because we needed a fresh start and a fresh attitude. ???? And slowly but surely, I’m getting it all put back together. And, adding Fall as I go. I’m keeping it very simple this year because I don’t want to have to move it. ???? I wrote about the update here if you have missed it.
I always think by adding a few pumpkins here and there, you have instant Fall.
I have gotten asked so many times where I got this type of pottery that I have in this collection. I pick them up when I see them at garage sales or flea markets. They are called Majolica and they are normally pretty pricey at antique malls, etc. Which is why I pick them up when I see them at a good price. I love the old feel of them.
I also love the fact they are green and brown and go perfectly for Fall. If you have noticed, I have put away a lot of my white dish collections and pulled the darker, earth-toned pieces at the forefront. I think that also gives you an instant cozy Fall feel.
Since these Majolica pottery bowls are technically planters, I added my olive tree topiary that I have used in so many displays over time. This one actually is setting in front of the thermostat, light switch, and alarm key pad to hide them. It seems like it’s ALWAYS out of stock, but they are currently available. I love this one so much! As always, if you are second time customers at QVC, you can enter HELLO10 and get $10 off.
I found this little white pumpkin garland and fell in love with it. The pumpkins are made from white wool felt. It’s perfect to drape over a mirror like I did. And they look really cute in a fireplace mantel display or a head board.
And then, of course, I added a few real pumpkins to the mix and a Fall scented candle.
I love this little corner of the dining room. What do you think?
Oh… and I have a section on my site that has all of the Fall posts in one area. Check that out if you need some new ideas.

Stunning as always!
