This is officially my first Christmas decor post. Are you excited? Even if you aren’t, just pretend. ???? I haven’t gone full-fledged Christmas yet here at the rental. I have, however, gotten a few new items in the mail for something fresh this year. And, if you don’t know, this rental is 1100 square feet, so I don’t have TONS of room to store lots of Christmas decor and collections. So one of my favorite things to do is to add Christmas to my displays of collections. It is simple and quick and takes literally 2 minutes.
And, since I just got a few of these items in the mail recently, I figured that now is the perfect time to share with you. This is my first Christmas display within my collections.
We ended up moving this farmhouse table into the dining room simply preparing for our Christmas gathering with our girls. We love to have them all over for a brunch type of thing. It’s so fun all being together! ???? This farmhouse table was the same one that was in the House on Winchester. We made this from an old library table. It then spent some time in storage room jail… then our office as our desk here at the rental. I thought it would be too big in this dining room here at the rental, but it worked perfectly. It is 8′ long but only 2′ wide.
I already had this oversized carved wood tray from Hearth and Hand on my other round table that was in here previously. It’s perfect to group and display my collections.
I decided to build this quick Christmas look around my antique green majolica planters. If you have any festive planters already out in your decor, just add a tree. And you have a quick Christmas look without going too crazy.
I have had this cute little evergreen tree for over a year. You may remember how I decorated it for Valentine’s Day. And it hung out on our porch all Summer. I brought it back in the house and now it is displayed for Christmas. (I actually just pulled the link and it is on CLEARANCE. – Normally $47.50 now $32) I just got these cute little snowflake lights in the mail from Amazon, too. And they are perfect for this little tree because they are small enough and battery operated. And, then I added some scented pine cones into my one large flower pot and a Christmas scented candle.
TaDa…. A quick Christmas look that took 2 minutes, by simple adding a tree into my already existing decor.
