Spring is definitely in the air here in Ohio. Can I get a Hallelujah! You know how much we love the spring, summer, and fall. Winter is a little sketchy. It’s just too dang long. Once the spring months roll around, we are like caged animals that need OUT! We have the best fun and feel so hopeful once we can get our porches cleaned off from the winter funk. We usually start by taking everything off of the porch and making sure the porch floor is cleaned. And, of course, we wash the rugs.
Almost every year, we get a few new items to spruce up our outdoor spaces. Because investing in a few new things gives the porch a totally different feel. This year, we grabbed a few new things from Bed Bath & Beyond.
Bed Bath & Beyond is a one-stop-shop. They carry just about everything you can think of: kitchen items, storage and cleaning, curtains and window, home decor, and so much more. Bed Bath & Beyond has excellent prices. And, they also have fabulous sales where you can save even more money.
Now on to what we grabbed for our front porch refresh this spring and summer.
This section of the porch is something I have struggled with since we moved in. I never had the right items. Our porch on the cottage is 48′ long by 8′ deep. Since I LOVE rocking chairs, and we always need more seating when we have company stop by, I grabbed two rocking chairs to put on each side of the window. These will also be such a great addition to the front porch on the new house as well. They seem a bit oversized compared to a lot of the other rockers I have had, which is good. These rockers come in teak wood color, which is what we have, and also white. I love the contrast of the wood against the white siding.
I fell in LOVE when I saw these gorgeous white planter pots. They come in a set of 2 and are so simple but add such a great look to the front porch. I love grouping different pots together around the doorway come the summer months. These planters will also look great tucked in flowers beds, on our back porch, or even used in our vegetable garden to dress it up a bit.
This antique-looking metal watering can popped up on my search and I immediately grabbed it. It not only looks like an authentic replica but the price is EXCELLENT. It happens to be on sale.
Since Bed Bath & Beyond has such great outdoor items for the porch, I rounded up a few more things to show you. Because tis the season for front porch decor. You can click any picture below for the direct link.
