I started looking for range hoods online as soon as I started designing the kitchen here at the cottage. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted but I knew I would know when I found it. We had a wood one at our old house that I bought at a the Re-Store shortly after we started working on it. I stopped to see if they had anything exciting to use in our house. And on my wait out the door, I saw a huge gorgeous range hood on a bottom shelf. Deb had originally said she was going to make one, which is what I planned on. But, seeing that already done, saved her so much time. I threw a coat of paint on it and loved it.
Cut to the rental we are living in that doesn’t have one at all. So, you can only imagine how excited I was to find one that I wanted.
As I said earlier, I did so many searches online for range hoods. When the Designer Wood Hood from ZLINE popped up, I JUST KNEW… when you know, you know. ???? The first thing that caught my eye was the wood color. The second thing was the fact it looked like bead board, which I LOVE! This would fit perfectly in my woods and whites color scheme that I love so much.
The ZLINE Wood Hood came in 3 pieces. You figure the height and hang the actual hood (the bottom piece) on with a bracket and screws. The second piece sits on top of that, and the third piece is the actual trim around the top that you slide on at the end. It was so easy to install.
ZLINE has so many different options as far as range hoods. They carry stainless steel, wood, outdoor hoods, and even copper. ???? They also carry just the inserts if you make a hood yourself.
I am so happy with how our range hood looks. I think it not only fits our style but the quality is excellent. What do you think?
Check out ZLINE if you are looking for a great quality range hood.

I love your range hood, what a great find. Thanks for sharing the info.
I figure you are linking with companies that can supply materials for your cottage and save you some money, but I wish some of your videos would be be less about selling merch and more about decorating. I understand that you are doing this for a living and that getting endorsements is important, but your recent content has been sell, sell, sell.
