Here is all the inspiration you need to create the perfect Fall vibe for a warm and cozy fireplace mantel! I found some great accounts and tips from both Instagram and Pinterest that I think you will enjoy just as much as I did.
With Fall Decorating in full swing in our home, it’s time to start thinking about decorating the fireplace mantels for Fall. This is a little bit of a process for Deb and I, mainly because we have four mantels to decorate! To be technical, we could also decorate our mantel in the cottage, aka Deb’s new shop.
If you aren’t familiar with our fireplace mantels, you can take a tour of our fireplace mantels here. You can also see how we previously decorated the cottage mantel with a simple Halloween theme here and a quick Thanksgiving theme here.
At least that is what I call Toni Mariana over on Instagram. I have followed Toni for years and actually got a chance to meet her in person at a conference. She is a doll. And one of the most talented people on the web, in my opinion. She styles fireplace mantels, like no other, and if you are looking for a dining room table inspo, she’s your girl for that as well. Her style is very calming to me. Check her out!
H&H gives us tips for creating a simple and elegant Fall display, and the first tip is exactly what initially drew me to this setup! Tip number one is to begin with a color scheme when decorating for a season or holiday. This design includes mustard yellow, which is very different from a lot of the other designs I have come across so far.
Do you see the garland on that mantel? Oh, I love it! I actually love the hint of color from the berries, but what I really love is the garland with the wood slats dangling below! I also love the use of old books to add height to the display. If your books aren’t old or pretty, you can turn them spine in so that you only see the pages.
Katherine from That Southern Spark shares all the Fall decor trends for 2023, and I am loving what she has to say! Her top three tips: include muted colors, luxurious textures, and natural elements. Yes, yes, and yes!!
Aria from Blogs by Aria gives us a tour of her beautiful home! I tend to go all out on the neutral tones, but when it comes to Fall I can full appreciate the use of natural orange tones, like Amber. Aria has done a great job incorporating this color across all of her different spaces, including her fireplace mantel. Those large glass vases are perfection!
Nissa-Lynn focuses on home and holiday decor, and she nailed this Fall mantel setup! I love the clean, white color scheme. She draws your eye upward with the large mirror, and the glass pieces are also a little bit different than what I saw with other accounts.
Okay, I have to stop myself, because there are so many more beautiful setups and ideas that I would like to share with you. Now, to finish decorating our mantels so I can show you what we came up with! Stay tuned!!
