Did you see the beadboard wallpaper we just received!? I am so excited to get it hung in our kitchen! Today’s in-feed inspiration is all about wallpaper: the different prints, textures, and even colors.
Like I said, we are about to add beadboard wallpaper to our kitchen, and seeing this post makes me so excited to have it done. Tara Salas has added beadboard wallpaper all over her home, and not only that, but she paints her wallpaper to customize it to each room. It adds so much texture and visual appeal to her walls!
Louise uses a variety of different wallpapers in her home. She used a fun print for her son’s room, a textured wallpaper for the guest room, but my favorite is this monochromatic wallpaper in her bathroom! A wallpaper that only uses one color to create a design or image provides a very clean look, in my opinion. I get stressed when things get too busy. These simple black lines amplify the modern, straight lines used in the rest of her bathroom. It flows so well.
Honey Collins is no stranger to wallpaper. As an interior designer, she uses just about every kind of wallpaper in her client’s homes. You will be amazed at the variety of wallpapers in her posts, so be sure to check it out! A trend in both homes and fashion alike for 2023 has been floral prints, and I love this lovely floral print used in this bathroom. It ties in so well to the wooden vanity as well as the floral decor.
Carol and Marilyn are a mother and daughter duo that work together to create warm, inviting spaces in the home. Look at how they added texture to this bathroom with this faux-brick wallpaper! Do you remember when we wallpapered our very large bedroom wall of the House on Winchester with faux-brick wallpaper? This is a personal favorite of mine.
Becca added this busy wallpaper that adds a bold green color to the entryway of her weekend home. We don’t use a lot of color in our home. Our home is dominated by white with natural wood and brown tones. None the less, I can appreciate this bold, green wallpaper as it still provides a color found in nature. Not only does the bold wallpaper make the space pop, but it also helps the wood furniture piece in front of it stand out. It’s a gorgeous space!
The House of Sand and Salt is an interior design studio and look at their use of this simple wall mural! Mural wallpaper provides one overall image instead of a repeating print. Most murals are a giant picture that take up an entire wall, but this mural just adds a few tree branches. It adds so much without overpowering the entire space. Mural wallpapers have also gotten very popular to bring a theme to a baby’s nursery.
Adding wallpaper with vertical stripes is a great way to add height to your walls, while horizontal stripes can add depth and width to a room. Bria Hammel Interiors did just that by adding this floor-to-ceiling wallpaper with vertical stripes.
Which type of wallpaper would you prefer to add to your home, or is there another type of wallpaper that you have been itching to add to your home?
I rounded up a few different types of wallpaper that I am loving right now.
