I’ve said it before, but Fall is pretty much my favorite season of all. It is a bit too short here in Ohio, but I try not to focus on that. AND… there is no better fashion than fall fashion. Oversized sweatshirts, cardigans, and leggings are key staples you need this season. If you love to add mix and match pieces to your wardrobe, this is the post for you.
Deb and I recently picked out a few wardrobe staples from Kohl’s for the upcoming fall season. All of the pieces we chose are things that we can each wear over and over again. By adding these tops to a different pair of pants, we will be able to have multiple different looks.
Kohl’s is actually the place where Deb finds so many of her every day active wear pieces. And Kohl’s cash is one of the reasons why. You can save so much money. Which, by the way, I never even try to spend up my Kohl’s cash because she usually beats me to it. I just reminded her that we have $30 Kohl’s cash on our account currently and she needs to spend it. So this is your reminder.
Make sure to check your account, because you don’t want to forget to spend your cash.
Deb and I tried to do a little matchy match look. I want to shoot some fall looks here in the woods once the trees turn their vibrant reds, yellows and oranges. It’s my favorite time for photos. The air is crisp and it always smells, well, FALL-ish. Let’s get on with the key staples you may want to add to your wardrobe for this season.
We each chose a tee shirt because layering is the key for us here in this part of the country. One day it can be 80 degrees and the very next day, it will drop down to 40. The one I chose is a little edgy and perfect for this time of year. And, Deb chose this sportier looking tee in a rust color. I also opted for this longer cardigan that is so soft and comes in many colors. I love the olive color as it reminds me of fall.
Deb looks absolutely adorable in these pants. They fit her so well. I, of course, chose leggings with my outfit. It is really my go-to for cozy, comfy clothes.
Outerwear is a MUST here in Ohio. Deb’s jacket is a bit heavier than mine but it is such a great quality. I have this heavier shacket that is perfect for this time of year.
Combat boots pretty much go with everything. And so do beanies. And going through the fall and winter months without either wouldn’t be fun.
As you can see, each of these pieces can be mixed and matched with so many different items. And, they can carry you through the winter months as well.
