Everything Deb is wearing in these photos is from Kohl’s.
Do you even KNOW how excited I am for Deb? Let me catch you all up to speed, if you are new here. We sold our home in August, 2019, so that we could build our new home on our land here in the woods. We were going to start in the summer of 2020. Well… we all know what happened in early 2020. So we waited because of the uncertainty of what was going on in the world. Cut to October, 2020 and we decided to have a building built here on the property and live in it in order to get out of our rental. This building would eventually become Deb’s workshop once we got our home built on the property. Well… We are now in our new home and today, I wanted to give you an update of Deb’s workshop.
We lived in this 40’x48′ building from March, 2021, to December, 2022, which is when we moved into our new home. The winter weather here in Ohio is way too cold to do anything outside for long periods of time. Basically, we all go stir crazy inside. With all of our furniture out of the workshop, we had this bright idea to make Deb’s workshop a little playground for the grandkids to come and run off some energy. It was empty, so why not.
I am telling you, they have had the most fun in this building. It has actually been great, too, because we can have parties out here without messing up our home. Ha! And the mess can stay until the next day, if need be.
Which means project workshop has now started. And, I couldn’t wait to share this update. Since is getting a little warmer, Deb is now able to start bringing over her cabinets and a few of her tools. She plans on having the entire thing organized with cabinets and different tool organizational items. And she will have a large workbench in the middle of the shop to do my projects. Ha! I always tell her that… because I have an entire list of things I would love for her to build or repair. And I remind her of them quite frequently.
Of course, since the fireplace was in this building when we lived here, it will remain. She plans on sprucing up this mantel a bit as one of her first projects, here. We are both so excited to get this space done.
I will be giving periodic updates here and there, but wanted you to know it’s started. And she hopes it to be completed in the next 6-8 weeks.
Everything Deb is wearing in these photos is from Kohl’s, which is her favorite shopping spot ever. She finds some of the best deals and shops Kohl’s for almost everything she needs for season changes. Because they have such a wide range of her favorite clothing: jeans, tees, workout clothes, sneakers, etc.
Again.. Kohl’s is having up to 30% off when you use your Kohl’s card! Which means it’s a great time to shop for your spring items.
Also.. every time I bring up Kohl’s here on our website or over on social media, I remind you to use your Kohl’s cash. Because I always forget. I just noticed that I have money to spend in the next couple of days, and if I don’t spend it, Deb will. She always seems to beat me to it!

Will there be a dust catcher installed for the tools? My husband bought one but has not installed his yet for his wood-shop.
