This is a strange time of year.  Ohio Augusts can go from a chilly morning to warm afternoons.  And, then sometimes beastly hot.  So we have to dress accordingly.  I grabbed a few new pieces for fall that will work for this strange in-between stage.  You know my gig is casual, so here are a few cozy sweatshirts for between seasons.

Casual Cozy Sweatshirts for Between Seasons

I remember getting new fall clothes for school and wanting to wear them so bad the first day.  However, my new school clothes were nice first thing in the morning due to the chilly air, but way too hot for the afternoon. I have found that sweatshirts or sweaters paired with a pair of shorts is perfect for me.  It is actually my all-time favorite things to wear.  That look is perfect for me when the temperatures are anywhere from 55-70-ish which covers a wide range of our August days.

Aerie for the win!

I found a few sweatshirts from Aerie, which is actually one of my favorite places to shop, believe it or not.  They tend to advertise more with younger girls, but I think their items look great on anyone. The quality is excellent and normally their sweatshirts are so soft and cozy.  So, I’m drawn to them.  This sweatshirt comes in lots of different colors and styles.  I wanted to keep mine pretty casual so I chose a few with writing.  But, there are some plain ones.  They are oversized, but I still got my regular size and I love the fit.

These would work with jeans, leggings, or shorts.

Amazon is upping their game on fashion!

I also found several pieces from Amazon!  I feel like Amazon is upping their game on fashion lately.  It used to be the fashion items that I received from them were hit or miss.  A lot of them recently have been hits.  All of these are again, nice to wear with either shorts or jeans and leggings when it gets colder.

Also… Old Navy has several great pieces, too.  If you are a shorts and sweatshirt gal, these shorts are fabulous.  They are so comfy and have fit me so well.  I would love them in more colors.  And, I love the color of this sweatshirt.

Add some accessories!

Deb is way more sporty than I am.  But when I try to be sporty, she always says I look like I’m dressed up.  Ha!  I swear it is the earrings and necklaces that I wear.  So, if you want to dress up a casual sweatshirt, add a gold necklace and larger hoop earrings and it does the trick.

All of these sweatshirts are great for layering in the upcoming fall season and the strange in-between time.
