???? Seasons change…..???? People change……???? By the title, you probably all think I am going to start pushing Fall decor down your throat. ???? Well, I’m not…… I do want you to start thinking about it though. I am, however, going to tell you how I love to change out my art with the changing seasons.. Fall included. It’s actually a little trick that I pulled last year during my Fall decor refresh and received so many compliments. So, I decided I was going to make this a seasonal thing. And I thought I better share it with all of my friends, too.
You guys know I love antiques.. including antique picture frames. Deb and I both do actually. It’s just something we NEVER tire of. I do start to crave something different with the prints that the antique frames are holding. So….. I got this idea last year to purchase different prints for my antique frames to give them an entirely different look. And I LOVED it.
Do you know that Walmart has an entire ART section on their website? Art.com through Walmart has art prints, canvas art, framed art, paintings, photography, and so much more. You can purchase different sized prints to cut to size to fit your own frame, like I did. Or you can buy prints already framed or on canvas. They are all separated in different styles, such as Farmhouse, Contemporary, Mid-Century, Coastal, etc. I had the most fun searching for the perfect pictures for my antique frames.
Deb LOVES her birds. She’s the “bird lady.” We always laugh because she is truly one of those sweet little old ladies that trots out to fill her backyard bird feeders to attract different types of birds. So, in my planning for Fall decor this year, I wanted to take her love for birds, my love for the warm Fall colors, and both of our love for vintage and antiques and combine them all.
I was browsing through Walmart / Art.com, and I immediately fell in love with the Audubon series. The entire collection is filled with birds in their natural habitat in warm-toned leaves and branches. So, I ordered two Warbler prints by John James Audubon and kept my fingers crossed that I would love them as much as I did when I saw them online. They did not disappoint. One has two yellow warblers on a tree branch with green leaves and red berries. And the other is a darker version of a warbler in greenery. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. Deb’s first reaction was the same when she saw them.
I swear I was on Walmart / Art.com for hours searching through the different prints they carry. I particularly love the ones that look like they are true vintage prints. Because they look like they are pages out of an old book. And, because, they look absolutely gorgeous in the antique frames that I have. I bought this Hermit Wood Warbler print because I loved the rich warm colors. And, do you like this Gray Wren Warbler? I thought it would be cute for Halloween.
You guys… have a look around at all of the different prints, canvases, and framed pictures on Walmart / Art.com. There is truly something for everyone’s style and everyone to love.
If you purchase something, please tag me in your posts over on Instagram and Facebook. I would LOVE to see them.

Who knew Walmart had prints like these!
What a great idea of keeping other prints, so they don’t become damaged, and easy to interchange.
Wow. Just love these prints. Those frames are great. I could kick myself we went to an estate sale and they had all sorts of ugly pictures and beautiful frames for $5 – $10 a piece… I couldn’t see beyond that artwork in didn’t buy any… UGG
Love them. No idea Walmart had prints like these.
I do this and always have! I had no idea that Walmart had prints I would like. Thanks for always sharing awesome decorating ideas and also for all the laughs I get from your stories. You and Deb are hands down my favorite.
These prints are lovely, especially how you have frames and stages them. I have to say, I am really surprised they are from Walmart. Would not have guessed that with 100 guesses! Good to know.
Love these bued prints and so inexpensive !
I have actually purchased from Art.com before. I used your framed Christmas tree art from last year as an idea to frame Easter prints this year. I got the cutest little lamb and bunny prints! I just took them down, and was contemplating on what to frame next…thanks for sharing this!
Love all of these! I think I just have to buy the cow canvas print.
❤️❤️❤️ this idea!!
Been using Art.com for years, It has a bit of everything anyone could want and the prices are great! Especially love that you put your bird prints in the antique/vintage frames. Really elevates them!
