How to Combine a Coastal Theme with a Farmhouse Theme

  1. Dana says:

I love it! Gorgeous! I think my style is farmhouse, coastal and bohemian, if that can be a style! You’ve done an awesome job incorporating your styles into one!

  2. Gladys says:

I was so happy this morning on IG to hear you were combining the two. I have been following you and Deb for a few months now. I messaged you last week and mentioned I love your home, and I Have decorated my home ( a modular) with a lot of the same things, and have for years. But, I live at a lake and I also love “ LAKEY “ things. I didn’t think I could combine an oar with a hundred year old photo of a distant relative in a huge round frame. But, I am doing it now. Now if Canadian Wal Marts were as awesome as yours I would be a happy girl.

    • Danelle Harvey says:

Oh my gosh… Thank you… and that oar idea will be amazing with old photos. I’m so glad you loved this!

  3. Pam Minick says:

I love it ! It all came together beautifully. Everything rolled into one ! Again love it

      Thanks, Pam! ????

Could I PLEASE have the name of company you purchased white brick wallpaper from? I just LOVE IT!

    • Danelle Harvey says:

It’s Milton and King. If you type in the word wallpaper in the search bar of my blog up at the top, the exact name of it will pop up.

  4. Laurie says:

Thank you so much for sharing, for those of us who love to decorate but are not always quit sure how to incorporate what we like in our homes and have several different taste this does really help. Please continue to do this and I love that your doing it from Walmart so we can afford it and still make our homes look beautiful! You are amazing!

    • Danelle Harvey says:

Oh I’m so glad you love it. This is one of my favorite things to do, so I will for sure continue.

Had no idea WalMart carried this line or any line, for that matter. You did a great job selecting those items for your room. So excited that you put a pop of color in there! I love color and so many are afraid to use any color, besides tan, beige and cream. I am loving on pink, soft pink right now. Your room looks wonderful!

  8. Mary Frances B Smith says:

Love it. Right across the street from my house is a little river. So I am very used to using “coastal” decor in my house. I love the look. I am also a Use What I Love even if it doesn’t fit person in my decor so I totally love what you have done with your bedroom. Love the picture…my Master Bedroom in up for redo in September!!! Thanks for the inspiration!

  9. Justin Allred says:

  13. Karyn Hilton says:

I loved seeing ur ideas about combining coastal with farmhouse. I have a coastal home, and add farmhouse when I think it works! I’m eclectic in my design. I love so many different design and items. People love my taste and home. It’s not as easy as people think when combining different styles! i find it fun!. I make mistakes, but it’s ok. I send the items back, and try again. Love ur design taste, the Vintage Porch, some items on Wesley’s website, and a few other IG accounts here and there! I enjoy Tina (Mimi) too; especially her bedding! You both are so creative, your DYI exemplary. You are fun to watch, and I trust your suggestions! Stay happy and fulfilled! xo
