An easy way to begin transitioning your home decor over to the next season’s style is to create a simple dining-room table centerpiece. The table is the focal point of the dining room and/or kitchen and can easily be transitioned without putting in a lot of effort. Today, I wanted to share with you how we transitioned our dining room table from Fall to Winter with only three items! I love how it all came together.
Wooden Tray | 38″ Faux Pine Branch | Faux Pine Swag | Faux Birch Bark LED Flameless Candles
With the temperatures falling into the 30s at night here in Ohio, I can feel the Winter season sneaking up fast! I have already started transitioning my Fall decor to Winter, but the cooler temperatures make me feel like I am behind on Winter decorating (I know I’m not). While the pumpkins can stay out awhile longer since they are also a great for Thanksgiving decor, it is time to put the Fall faux florals back into storage and replace them with winter greens.
I partnered with Wayfair to put together an easy table centerpiece that only requires four items. It was so easy to style and offers a neutral, woodland style that is timeless and elegant. This centerpiece is all about layering to add depth and dimension. You can add more of each item, too, for a more-full look or if you have an extremely large table.
I started my centerpiece with a wooden tray with legs to a little extra height. I’ve had this tray from Wayfair for a couple years now and it is out of stock, but they have so many other amazing wooden trays to choose from. See them all here. Here are two options in particular that I really like: Latassha Solid Wood Tray and Cromartie Solid Wood Tray.
I then added these 38″ Faux Pine Branches. They come in a set of four. These could be used year round, but I love the Winter touch they add for the cold months. They are made of a soft-touch plastic and each branch features metal-wired stems so that they can be bent to your desired shape. This is another product that looks incredibly realistic. They are a beautiful, rich green color which contrasts nicely with our wood table. I added them right overtop of the wooden tray.
The third item I added was this Faux Pine Swag. It features wispy pine needles with pine cones, and it is about as realistic looking as it gets! It is 30-inches long and is a much more muted green, so it stands out nicely from the faux pine branch. I placed this right over top of the faux pine branch and in the middle of the wooden tray.
The finishing touch to my centerpiece was this three-pack of of Vanilla Scented Flameless LED Candles. I added two sets of candles to make the centerpiece a little bigger. These candles have a very warm glow which is perfect for the cold, dreary months. They also have a remote which allows you to set a timer for four or eight hours, change the flame between steady or flickering, and switch the brightness of the light.
Overall, I love how it all came together, and it was so easy! My life has been so chaotic lately, so I appreciated the simplicity of this soooo much. I unboxed, added batteries to the candles, and layered these items on top of each other. Again, so easy, and it feels good to have decor inside our home that matches the cooler temperatures outside. I like when things are cohesive, but until I get the rest of my Winter decor in place, these pieces blend nicely with my Fall decor. Just throw a pumpkin in the mix and it would transition the entire look to Fall. I love that it is versatile.

Love the simplicity of a 4-item centerpiece! Sometimes less really is more when it comes to creating a beautiful, balanced look.
