Do you love seasonal scented candles and other seasonal items to fragrance your home? I do. In fact, I have gotten lots of compliments from people saying, “Your house smells so good!” And I love it. I will never forgot this story. When my oldest was in grade school, she had a bestie that spend the night at our house quite often, and vice versa. I was walking into the school for some event, maybe back to school night. The hallway was filled with delicious dessert smells from the cafeteria… apple pies, pumpkin pies, cookies, etc. I saw the mom of her bestie in the hallway, who was also my friend. She said that her daughter walked in the school that night and said, “This smells like Danelle’s house.”
I am drawn to scents that make my house seem like there is a lot of baking going on… pumpkin, apple, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, hazelnut, etc. It cozies up our home and makes it feel so homey.
I was asked over on social media what some of my favorite fall scents were. So, I rounded up several different scents and I also ordered a few for myself. Make sure you check out the one below in the little copper pot. That is one that I ordered. When they arrive, I will for sure share in stories if you are on social media. So stay tuned.
I am certain that some of you aren’t as crazy about candles as I am. But, there are so many other ideas to give your house that cozy and homey fragrance without burning a candle. There are diffusers, plug-ins, and potpourri, and they are all great options.
