Did you know you can make your own linen spray? I was looking online for some linen spray to buy. And, of course, I wanted it to be CLEAN. Because if you are spraying something on your bedsheets, you want it not to contain poisons. The kind I was looking at was pretty expensive and contained essential oils. OK… I have a TON of essential oils in my cabinet. So, I thought… why not make it myself. So, I did. And, it took 1 minute. Literally!
First off… if you have never seen my collection of essential oils, check out this reel. I have quite a few that I use on the regular. But, I still love to find new ways to incorporate my essential oils into my day to day life.
I use a lot of different mixes in the diffuser for different seasons, as well… Really, I use whatever I am in the mood for that day.
Also…. whenever I have oil bottles that are almost empty, they are moved to the laundry area. It’s what we use on our dryer balls to soften our clothes in the dryer and make them smell nice.
Secondly, if you haven’t seen what we made our essential oil cabinet from, check out this post. It is truly one of my favorite pieces in our home. It was so simple to do and makes such a perfect oil cabinet. And, now is the perfect time to keep your eyes peeled to do this project yourself as yard sales are quickly approaching. You will be able to find something similar, I am sure.
A fine mist spray bottle – I grabbed these because I thought the gold went with my decor.
Essential Oil of your choice
Water
Pour the following in the bottle:
1 T Witch Hazel
10-12 drops of essential oil
Fill with water
The pretty mister bottles that I used came with a little funnel to make things easier. You will have to shake the bottle every time you use it because the oil and water separate. But, I love the fact that I am using my own essential oils that I have on hand for this project. And, I also know there is no harmful toxins in it either.
