This week, we started decorating our kitchen with Fall decor! I have gone a little extra with our Fall decorations this year and splurged on my purchases. And with the nights getting colder, I am loving the warm, cozy feeling that is enveloping our home! So for this week’s in-feed inspiration, we are focusing on decorating your kitchen for Fall.
So many of you have said, I’m not ready for Fall; It’s still 100-degrees out! But slowly, one by one, I have received more messages saying, “Well… we bought a few pumpkins…” So, when you finally decide you are ready to decorate for the upcoming season, I hope you can pull from some of these beautiful accounts and posts.
I swear it has been all of my Texas people saying that it is too hot to decorate for Fall, but Meliha is the perfect example that you can decorate for Autumn even in the summer heat! This setup has me drooling with the woods and whites and the splash of amber. She has a youthful lifestyle that is a little different than mine, since I never leave the house, but she has a great eye for home decor! If you are trying to decorate for cooler weather in a warmer climate, check her out on Instagram.
Stephanie shows us what it is like decorating for Fall in her New England cape-style cottage. For some reason, I never seem to buy any glass pumpkins, but I absolutely love the clear ones that she has chosen here. It is so clean and refreshing. Be sure to peep her IG account because she has so many beautiful accent pieces in her home that I think you will really enjoy.
Stephanie has an account that focuses on mixing affordable and luxury items to create the perfect look. Her home has a more modern vibe and more color incorporated all around than ours, but I still appreciate her home and her work nonetheless! I specifically enjoyed this post about how she added slight touches of fall to her kitchen countertop all for under $30!
Can we talk about this giant wood island?! Wow! It took very little to add a touch of Fall to this giant island, and I think it is just the right amount. Be sure to check out Lindsey’s IG account where she showcases her amazing farmhouse loaded with vintage touches.
This is another instance where less is more! With a framed photo and a few artificial plants, Jess gave this space just enough to show that the season is changing. But really, I am loving everything about this photo as well as her entire account. I hope she has some new posts coming this winter, because her Christmas decor is fantastic!
Marlene from Life with Mar gives us 10 ways to incorporate Fall into your kitchen decor, easily. I don’t want to give too much away but think pumpkins and foliage! And like many of the other accounts have mentioned, as well, try to incorporate your Fall additions with a few of your decor pieces that you leave out year-round. There is no need to replace all of your decor with each season.
Just when I thought I was done, I ran into this one! If you follow this Pinterest post, it will lead you over to Diana’s IG account where she shows us how she styled this Fall-tray setup in her kitchen. This account is one you will definitely want to follow!
If you haven’t styled your kitchen for Fall, I hope you came away from this with a few new ideas! It’s about the time! If you wait too much longer, it will be October and then Halloween, and next thing we know we will be getting the Winter greens out!! Okay, I am retracting that comment, because I am definitely not ready for that yet! Have a great week, everyone!
