Well, we came to North Carolina to see my sister for the Thanksgiving holiday. I think we invited ourselves, but that’s OK. We are having an absolute blast. When we visit her, we love running around to visit our favorite antique malls here. We always find a few small things. And, we almost always find things to add to a few of our collections. As you know, I love to share all of our antique finds when we shop at flea markets, anique malls, garage sales, etc. So, I thought I would share our antique finds this week.
We found a lot of the apple pattern Watts Ware. I’m not sure if you remember, but I have a pretty large collection. I had them displayed in an antique white cabinet on the stairway landing in the old house for awhile. Since we moved from that house three years ago, they have been in storage. I cannot wait to see them again. These were all around $10 or under. I couldn’t believe it. The booth, where I found almost all of them, had a 75% off sale. When I see those booths, I really dig.
We also found another lid to an old yellow ware piece. Do you remember when I found the last lid? I get so excited. I’m never sure what they are off of, but they look cute on our old yellow ware bowls. And when they are $5-$7, I always pick them up.
I rarely find these antique sponge ware bowls anymore. They are so few and far between. So, when I do, they come home with me… especially if they are inexpensive. This one was only $8.
I saw this in an antique shop and I can’t remember the price.. Maybe $14. It wasn’t expensive at all. This man walked by and told me that I need to buy it because my face lit up when I saw it. I already had it in my hand, so it came home with me.
This was also in a booth with 50% off. So it ended up being a few dollars. I’m not really sure what it was used for. Originally I thought it was a barber brush but then I wondered about a paint brush. Let me know if you know anything about it.
These pitchers are something else that I pick up when I see them for a few dollars. This may have also been in the booth that was half off. So, of course, I needed to add that to my collection at home.
I LOVE these old column bases. They look adorable topped with a Christmas tree or old large crock. I can’t wait to get into the new house as I have a lot of ideas for this piece.
This will be adorable displayed for Thanksgiving next year. I haven’t seen anything like this and loved it.
These are random things that we found for a few dollars each. I love adding things like the old coupons to old jars or bowls. They always make a great conversation piece. One thing that I didn’t snap a picture of was our chandelier that we found. We were looking for one as we are short a few for the house. This one will be going in the utility room and I think it will look so pretty. Stay tuned to stories if you are on social media as I will share it when we get it unpacked. And, of course, I will share it here when we get the utility room all done.
If you love to see other people’s antique finds, I have shared quite a few times. And, you can find them all here.
