When we started building this workshop we just knew we wanted gooseneck lights beside the front and back double doors.  I love the look of goosenecks and I didn’t want them to feel too industrial.   So, I was on the hunt for the perfect ones.  I had no clue what color or style that I wanted but I knew that I would just know as soon as I saw them.   I scoured several websites and found several that I liked.  It wasn’t until the Feiss Redding Station Outdoor Wall Lantern popped up that I just knew.  Oh my gosh….  ????

Lamps Plus

Lamps Plus has EVERYTHING.  Seriously.. my cart was FULL of goodies.  ????  They carry lighting for interior and exterior, including chandeliers, indoor and outdoor ceiling fans, wall lighting, you name it.  They also carry furniture, which is where I found the coolest bar stools that may be my next purchase.  BUT….. as soon as I saw THE PERFECT GOOSENECK lighting, I knew they were the ones for our porch here at the cottage.  

Porch Lights and Fans at the Cottage

The Feiss Redding Station Outdoor Wall Lantern comes in a bronze color, which is what we have, and a tarnished outdoor barn light, which is more of a silver color.  I LOVE the bronze.  I also love the fact that there is so much detail on the goosenecks which adds so much more texture.  They come in 9″, 12″, and 15″…  We got the 15″ for the sides of the front and back doors, and we got the 12″ for the man door on the side of the garage.   I absolutely love the looks of them and think they match our style perfectly.

Outdoor Ceiling Fans

Since this is going to be Deb’s workshop, we knew we wanted ceiling fans on the front porch.  I absolutely fell in love with the Terrazzo 3-blade ceiling fan in oil rubbed bronze that matches the color of the goosenecks.  I thought it would give the cottage such a great look and be functional as well.  We spend lots of time outside and on our porch, and it gets hot and muggy in Ohio.  

These 44″ Terrazzo ceiling fans have LED lights, 3 speeds, and a remote which is also perfect for our lifestyle.   They are indoor / outdoor so they would look beautiful inside, also.  

I absolutely LOVE how they look on the front porch of the cottage.  I get so happy thinking about sitting out here on the porch SOON, sipping coffee in the morning, and enjoying an evening cocktail.
