You know what time it is…. it’s almost porch and patio time!!!   This weather, here in Ohio, has been INSANE.  We are just ITCHING to get outside, but it actually snowed a few days ago.  I have lived in this area my entire life and even I was shocked.  You can always plan on a chance of snow flurries this late in the season, but I don’t remember actual accumulation.  We got about an inch.  It didn’t stick around for long, of course, but nevertheless, it was a shock to our systems.  We are already mentally prepared for outdoor living because we spend so much time on our porch.

I have been planning a few new looks for the front porch here at the cottage.  I reminded Deb that in a few weeks, we will have a porch on the house to decorate as well.   That is totally our style.  Our house will be far from done, but the porch will be decorated so that we can enjoy our times outside.  My plan is to have lots of different styles of planters for all of out outdoor spaces.  I grabbed this pair of concrete pots from Zulily a few days back and cannot wait until they arrive.
