I love sharing unique Christmas decor looks with you and here is my latest. This is Deb’s side table. She loves it when I poop it all up with decor. ???? I’m serious. She really does and she calls it that, too. I received this Santa picture and antique frame last year from one of the ladies who watches our stories on Instagram. I absolutely love it, so I knew I wanted to display it again this year.
I wanted a tall mirror hanging above this side table because when you set a tree in front of it, it’s twice the sparkle. ???? It’s one trick I like to use every year. I layered the gorgeous Santa pic in front of my vintage mirror. And then added my runner to the side table. This runner is one that I made years ago from an old piece of fabric and some old fringe that I had in my stash. I even think the fringe is hot glued on. ???? It has held up after all of these years. I set a stack of vintage books in front of the picture to give my candle height. See tip below… I ended up adding my busted-on-purpose balsam scented candle to an old crockery bowl. ???? I love the look. And then added my Santa that I just bought this year to the mix.
TIP: I double bag a glass jar candle and break the glass with a hammer. I carefully wipe the glass off with paper towels and then place my scented candles in old bowls, tins, etc. When the candle is burned down, it will pop right out with a butter knife. Or you can run it under hot water.
I found this Christmas tree years ago at TJ Maxx so I doubt it’s available anymore But it’s one of my favorites. I tucked it down inside a basket to add some texture to this side table. And, I added these cute clip-on flickering candle lights that I found this year at Pottery Barn. They are so pretty and even came with a remote.
And, that’s my simple vintage Christmas side table decor. I always hope that you get some ideas for your own decor when you stop by my site. I know when I search Pinterest and Instagram, I get my own ideas to incorporate, so I hope it’s the same for you.
