If you have been around for any length of time, you know that Winter isn’t my favorite season. ???? ☹️ It’s not that I don’t like the cold, it’s more that it drags on and on and on. Here in the Indiana, Ohio area, the buds don’t start reappearing on the trees until April or May. And sometimes Mother Nature surprises us with a blizzard in the Spring. It really is comical. As soon as the weather warms up to above 50, people are enjoying outdoor activities in shorts and tee-shirts. We laugh at ourselves because 50 degrees in the Fall feels a lot different than 50 degrees in the Spring. I swear that we all feel like caged animals and just want OUT!
This time of year, however, we like to spend every waking hour outside. We want to enjoy the last bit of good weather before the snow flies. Deb and I have been spending so much time in the woods finishing a few projects, and checking the progress of The Woods and Ivy Cottage. And simply enjoying being outside and being together! We recently escaped to the woods, built a campfire, and drank some hot chocolate just to chill! It was HEAVENLY! Keep scrolling for some warm and cozy outdoor pieces for winter.
I know that the holidays are going to look a little different for all of us this year. I’ve heard several people say they were going to be spending a lot of time outdoors with their families, bundled up around campfires, etc. And, lots of talk about giving practical gifts. There is no better place for quality outdoor gear and practical gift-giving than Backcountry.
Backcountry is a premium outdoor and lifestyle retailer that carries the best outdoor brands. They are QUICKLY becoming one of our favorite places to shop. I shared our Fall Favorites from Backcountry a few weeks ago when the leaves were beautiful. And thought I would share a few more of our favorites to make your outdoor activities this holiday season more comfortable. And, maybe give you a few gift ideas as well.
They have a GREAT selection of Winter Jackets! I picked out a few for my wish list!
Also… Keep in mind that Backcountry just integrated Klarna to their site, which now allows customers to finance their purchases or spread the cost over 4 interest-free installments. Which means, they make it easier to buy items we love.
