Fall Decor

16 Candles for the Fall Season Under $15

When I decorate any space, the first thing I do is put on some great tunes and light a candle.  Background music always puts a pep in my step.  And, the light of a candle gives me the feeling of a cozy space and makes the house smell so good.  Since we are all gearing up toward the upcoming fall season, fall scented candles have been on my mind.  We recently rounded up 16 candles for the fall season under $15.

Also.. keep scrolling to see what one of our all-time favorite candles scents is.  It is definitely a conversation starter, that’s for sure.  Hahahaha!

16 Candles for the Fall Season Under $15

Having a good smelling house is something that is very important to me.  I have shared this story previously a few years ago, but I think of it quite often. When my oldest was in grade school, she had a bestie that spent the night with us quite frequently.  And, she spent the night at their house as well.  There was some type of carry-in at the school one night.  I believe it may have been back-to-school night, but I’m unsure.  I was coming through the front door of the school with the dish that I made for that evening and noticed how good the hallway smelled.  It smelled of fresh baked pies and delicious fall food.  I passed the mom of her bestie and I said, “Gosh it smells so good in here.”  She said her daughter said, “This smells like Danelle’s house.”  Ha!  I took that as a great compliment.

I am actually drawn to scents that make our house smell like someone has been baking all day… like vanilla, cinnamon, apple, pumpkin spice, sweet rolls, etc.  All of those scents remind me of fall.  Therefore all of the candles that we chose for this upcoming fall season are those scents.  And, I love that they don’t break the bank either.

Deb and Danelle’s Favorite Candle Scent

YEARS AGO… like 20 years ago, Deb and I visited a friend over the weekend.  Her house was gorgeous and smelled so dang good.  It was very woodsy smelling… a little bit sweet and it had a lot of deep scents to it. She said she found this candle at a little flea market.  She loved the scent of it, too… and she got a kick out of the name.

If you like sweet woodsy scents, this is the one for you.  It would make such a great white elephant gift for the upcoming holidays.  And I would bet that everyone will fight over it.  Ha!  I just grabbed one for myself because I love them so much.

Also.. I spoke of music above.

I created a fall playlist of oldies a few weeks back if you are interested.  It really gets you in the mood for the upcoming season.  Check it out!
