I like the wood color without paint, but you both have a gift for turning EVERYTHING into something I love. I’ll agree with whatever you decide because I’m sure it will look great. Thanks for all you do. I use many of your decor ideas/collections/projects as jumping off points for my ideas.
Keep on keeping on. You’re awesome!

My vote is for stained! But whatever you choose I know will look fantastic.

  4. Jenn J says:

I vote stain but either way, it is beautiful!!!

  5. Less upkeep if you leave it natural?????

  6. Brenda says:

I vote stain the top paint the bottom
    It’s fabulous girls !!!

  7. Anonymous says:

I would stain the top & leave columns white so you still have the woods & white going on!!

  8. Anonymous says:

I vote stain because it might be less maintenance than white

  9. Genevie Wilson says:

    Work your magic

  10. Mary Beth Proudfoot says:

I vote for stain! Maybe a light grey to look as if it’s aged.

  11. Dawn Narvaez says:

Leave it natural but just put something to protect the wood from the elements.

  12. Jeanne Vogel says:

My vote is for paint. My experience with both painted wood and stained wood in a 4-season area is that the paint needs less upkeep.

But, either way, it will look amazing! ❤️

  13. Becca says:

I think painting them white would be such a cohesive look!!!! Plus, a bit stronger against the elements! Truly, anything you two turns out beautifully! This grand entrance is gorgeous! I’m sure to just become more gorgeous over the years!!! Love it! ✌🏼💚🙏🏼

  14. Candi says:

I say paint it all white but either way will be stunning.

  15. Barb says:

I would stain it. It looks so nice. I like the contrast really makes it stand out.

  16. Kelly Morasci says:

I love the contrast of the wood on the top with the white on the columns. Woods AND White for the win. The warmth of the wood tone makes it beautiful!♥️

  17. Bettie Dutko says:

Hmmm, I’m in the minority – paint it white!!! Makes quite a statement either way! Love it!

  18. Lisa says:

I think it fits with your woods and whites theme! I vote for staining. Whatever you do will be extra and inspiring!

  19. Cindy says:

I say paint it white. I still love white. 😀. I know it’ll look great whatever y’all decide to do though.

use a light, clear stain, keeping with the white and wood theme.

  22. Sherrie Joseph says:

Looks great as is. Maybe just seal it. Love the contrast and natural look bc it is a garden after all

  23. Evelyn Fear says:

I think that I would do the white paint, and then, I’d plant something–maybe climbing roses, or morning glories, or wisteria to twine up them and over the top. Whatever colors that y’all favor most to create the fantasy entryway into your fantastical garden. LOVE IT ALL!!! Be still my heart; my dream garden would look a whole lot like yours!!!

  24. Patricia Vinson says:

Your pergola is so fabulous – it will be beautiful as is or painted! And, I usually prefer painting. And, I knew the wood columns would be used in the future. I can’t wait to see the wood column project!

  25. Karen Root says:

I love the look of the white columns with the stained pergola! Goes with your woods and whites theme so well! 😊

  26. Anonymous says:

You two are really extra – but in a really great way. Always a treat to see your ideas come to life 😊

  27. Karen Robertson says:

I say paint the whole thing. It will look so clean and pulled together. Don’t forget you still have the wood thing going with the picket fence, so you’ll still get your contrast ( for which you have now become famous!). And paint will protect it more against the elements.

  28. Holly Morris says:

    Beautiful
