I absolutely love trying new-to-me beauty products. It’s always fun to spice up my daily routine with things I’ve heard others about. I recently ordered a few beauty items from Nordstrom that you all need to know about.
Nordstrom is a one-stop-shop for not only some of my favorite clothing brands but, also, all things beauty. They have curbside pickup, but since I don’t have a store close to me, I REALLY appreciate their FREE shipping and FREE returns. The Nordy Club is also my favorite. Nordstrom allows card members to shop their sales early and earn points when you spend. It really does pay off if you shop Nordstrom regularly. Check it out!
Now… onto my favorite beauty items that I found at Nordstrom recently.
SARA HAPP LIP SCRUB: If you’ve never tried a scrub for your lips, I highly recommend this one by Sara Happ because it’s made my lips feel extremely smooth and soft. It’s under $25 and you don’t need much to see and feel a result. This scrub’s main purpose is to remove dry and flaky skin on the lips. We could all use this product during the colder winter months when our lips are cracked and dry.
PILLOW LIPS GLOSS: This has to be one of my all-time favorite lip glosses after trying it. The name of the gloss says it all – pillow lips! It literally feels like butter and is long-lasting so a little goes a long way. Not only does it moisturize, it also adds a flush of color that’s super natural looking for any skin tone.
AVEDA CONTROL PASTE: This stuff is the best when it comes to holding your hair in place – those little fly aways and pieces you wish were flat can now be tamed. It also helps create texture within the hair giving you a bit more volume than normal which I personally love.
OLAPLEX BONDING OIL: Like the treatment mask above, this bonding oil also is a reparative product for the hair that helps strengthen and hydrate the roots for a healthier glow. It’s for all hair types and dramatically increases shine, softness and color vibrancy. It’s color-safe so anyone can use it! I apply it after I style my hair and it helps so much with the flyaways.
CURLING IRON: If you’re in the market for a new curling iron, this one comes top rated as a best seller from Nordstrom. You probably know by now that I use a curling iron religiously, so I definitely recommend this one. Though it’s a bit pricy, it’s totally worth the investment!
LIVING PROOF FLEX HAIRSPRAY: A multitasking medium-hold hairspray that can be used on damp or dry hair to set, style and finish, leaving hair touchable and brushable. Since this is a heat protectant, I spray this on my hair while using the curling iron and it holds my curls longer.
DARK SPOT SERUM: This niacinamide-powered serum by First Aid Beauty helps reduce the look of dark spots, sun spots, hyperpigmentation, discoloration and post-acne marks. The licorice root and golden kiwifruit helps reveal a more uniform, healthy-looking complexion. I definitely see a huge difference in my dark spots using this product.
TREATMENT MASK: Since I curl my hair so much, I’ve always been afraid of damaging my hair, but this restorative healing mask is actually made for repairing which makes me feel so much better after applying heat. It can repair hair within minutes and leaves the hair incredibly soft and silky smooth after just one application!
