Delicious Gluten Free Four Ingredient Pancakes
You know that Deb and I love to eat healthy. A lot of times, we stick with whole foods for every meal – meat, vegetables, and fruit. So we are always on the hunt for different things to add into the normal rotation. If I have to actually choose a breakfast food for breakfast, give me pancakes. I have always loved a huge stack of pancakes. Deb has recently started making some delicious pancakes that are more on the healthier side considering most. So here is how she has been making these delicious gluten free 4 ingredient pancakes.
Delicious Gluten Free Four Ingredient Pancakes
My grandma lived about a mile down the road from us. When my sister and I were young, we would ride our bikes down to our grandmas house to visit. Of course, being a grandma, she always asked if we were hungry and offered to make us something. It didn’t matter what time of day it was, we always wanted pancakes. Ha! We thought her pancakes were the best pancakes on the planet. I think they were made with the Aunt Jemima pancake mix right out of the box, but she fried them in butter. So they were extra good. Of course, we doused them with a TON of syrup. YUMMY!
Since my love for pancakes runs deep, we had to come up with something that gives us the same excitement as the olden day pancakes. Ha! And, these do the trick for me. I say the pancakes that we make now are made with only four ingredients, but that doesn’t include the toppings. You can add whatever toppings you want to these pancakes but we love peanut butter for a little fat and of course, a little maple syrup. Fresh berries on top of these are really good too. These strawberries happen to be fresh out of our garden. Of course they don’t taste like the best pancakes in the world like my grandma’s but they are a great substitute without all of the calories and bad stuff.
Also, if you like bananas, you will love these even more.

Delicious Gluten Free Four Ingredient Pancakes
Ingredients
- 2 small bananas or one large
- 2 sm-med eggs
- 1 T flour (we use almond)
- 1 dash Baking powder
- Toppings
Instructions
- Mash the bananas in a bowl with a fork or potato masher
- Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl
- Add the eggs, flour, and baking powder to the bananas and stir
- Cook in a non-stick skillet or one coated with whatever type of oil you choose.
Notes
Suggested toppings would be, of course, maple syrup, peanut butter, butter, fruit, powdered sugar.. you name it. Whatever you love on your pancakes would work. We love these and eat them several times a week. Let me know if you try them.

This is a great recipe and I use it as well to make bread/cake. I’ve substituted mashed extra ripe pears at times and it works like a charm.
