I started decorating for Christmas mid-October because of the magazine shoot that is no longer happening. I’m not sure if you knew that or not, but I announced it over on social media a few weeks back. This post should explain why I cancelled it. I didn’t think adding any more unnecessary stress to my life would do me any good. Yesterday, I decided that I have drug this Christmas decorating on long enough. Ha! After all, Christmas is less than three weeks away. So I decided to do a few last minute things and call it done. I added some evergreen sprays on our kitchen pendants and wanted to tell you how I did it. And, give you some more ideas on how to use them.
I am going to be honest. I brought all of our evergreens downstairs from our Christmas decor room in October and it has been shoved in our entryway closet ever since. I open the door, grab a few items, and close the door so I don’t have to look at it. Well that is all put away now. And, it feels magnificent. Like I said, I added a few more touches around the house yesterday to call it done…. but we all know it’s probably not done.
These evergreen sprays are so simple to make. I grabbed the evergreen stems a few weeks back because I wanted to add them to some vases for different areas of our home. I also thought I would fill the massive cabinet in our dining room with them, as well. But I went a different route with my Christmas decor there. Which I will share that look soon.
Oh my gosh, I keep getting off track. Ha!
I made swags years ago with my friends out of dried flowers and weeds. So, this brought back some memories. There are so many different ways you can use these and thought I would share how I have used them in the past.
These evergreen sprays on our kitchen pendants added so much elegance and I love how they turned out. Let me know if you make them. Thank you so much for stopping by our website. I appreciate it so much. Don’t forget to check us out on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, too.
I shared our kitchen pendant lights here for those interested.
