I love my vintage items, but you already know that.  Deb was at the storage unit recently, and she grabbed me a few of my favorite collections.  I shared a few other collections that wound up in the laundry room once she got home.  We moved from the old house into the rental in September, 2019.  I absolutely cannot believe that our goodies have been in storage for almost two years.  It seems like yesterday but also seems like an eternity.   My vintage amber bottles were another collection she brought home to the cottage.  They are a perfect collection for decor in the fall or even if you want to create a Halloween look.  

Anyway… I decided to throw together a quick fall mantel using my vintage amber bottles.  Again.. who knows if this will all stay here or I will create another look.  One never knows.  Anyway, here is what I did.

Fall Mantel using Vintage Amber Bottles

I started with using the same golden eucalyptus that I used on the coffee table.  And I added them to a few rusty buckets we found at a flea market.  I liked the looks of them on each side of our Frame TV.  It filled that blank space nicely.  I started with the larger amber bottles and worked my way down in size. 

I decided to stack a few vintage books in the same color palette and use them as risers for my smaller amber bottles.

I love using my vintage items in my regular decor as well as seasonal.  I added a few of my favorite taper candles to a few vintage amber bottles and love the look.  My ceramic pumpkin is still one of my favorites.  I found them at our local Kroger last year.  Someone said they found them at theirs this year so check if you are interested.  They had several sizes.  I got two different ones and if I see them again, I will be grabbing the other sizes that I don’t have.  

Of course, adding a few warm colored pillows to the area makes this area feel more fall, too.  

I know some of you aren’t ready to decorate for fall yet and that’s ok.  But I hope this gives you some inspiration for your own fall decor when you are ready.    Don’t forget to PIN some of these images for your future reference.
