I have been trying to show you guys lots of different areas that I have been styling for Fall. And remember, this house is small so I have to get creative with my areas. I styled this side table a few weeks ago and shared it, but I plucked the ceramic pumpkin that I found at Kroger and used it elsewhere. This table happens to be Deb’s side table and she has been asking me to re-decorate it. I thought a fall pumpkin decor theme would be fitting. She loves it when the house is decorated and everything is put away and looking orderly.
I wanted to use several things that I had on hand. And, make it so simple that you guys could maybe get some inspiration and re-create this look yourselves.
I started by grabbing my large chalkboard from storage and leaned it up against the wall. And, I free-handed a pumpkin at the top. I knew there was going to be decor down below so I didn’t want to waste my wonderful artistry on something that would be covered up. ???? You could use a large mirror or large window in place of this chalkboard. And hang a Fall wreath from a ribbon in place of the pumpkin drawing.
*I get asked every single time I share this chalkboard where I found it. It’s an old picture from the 70s that was faded. The frame is actually a hard plastic. I painted directly over the old picture with chalkboard paint years ago and still love it.
I used some gauzy type fabric that is always out in the Halloween section this time of year. And then added a vintage basket that I found at the thrift store to the one side of the table. I filled the basket with a few faux pumpkins. And a crock with a greenery plant.. which I also found at a thrift store years ago.
I most always add either a lamp, nightlight, or some candlesticks for mood lighting. On the other side of the side table, I added these gold taper candlesticks. Some of these candlesticks are vintage and some of them are new. I love mixing both.
I hope this helps any of you who have a hard time putting items together to make a little grouping. When we owned our store, this was what we heard A LOT. Let me know if you try this look and tag me in any stories you share over on Instagram.

I LOVE the framed chalkboard with the pumpkin drawing. Looks so cute with the basket and pumpkin and candles. Looks very fall elegant. And it’s simple!
