Frame TV Downloadable Art for the Winter Months

Televisions hung above a fireplace are very controversial. People either love them or hate them.  I personally love our televisions hung above our fireplaces for functionality. Meaning that I love seeing most of the furniture facing the fireplaces so that we can enjoy them.  However, I don’t enjoy seeing a big black box while the televisions are off.  Thats where the Samsung Frame TV comes into play. The Samsung Frame TV, while off, can be set to look like a picture by downloading different pictures or adding some of your own.  I love changing the pictures out quite often for the seasons.  And, recently found some really pretty Frame TV downloadable art for the winter months. And I wanted to share.

Why a Samsung Frame TV

If you have been around here for awhile, you know that we sold our old home in town to build our forever home in the country.  That was August of 2019. We moved into a tiny rental home that we rented from a friend of ours at the end of September, 2019.  We had every intention of starting our new build ASAP. Once the dust settled of moving half of our belongings into the house and half of them into a storage unit, 2020 happened.  2020 stalled everything.  We decided to stay in that rental until things calmed down a bit. Cut to the end of 2020 when we decided to build Deb’s workshop, aka the cottage, first and live in that until we could build the house.  I don’t know if you remember but building supply costs skyrocketed.  So we didn’t know if we would live in the workshop for a year or 10 years.

All of that to say, we ended up buying a Samsung Frame TV for the workshop knowing that we would be moving it over to the house once we built. We loved it so much because it looked like a piece of art above our fireplace. (See it here in the workshop.) Little did we know that when we hired our architect to design our new home, she would add four fireplaces into the layout. She had one in the family room, kitchen, dining room, and bedroom.  Since we loved the Frame TV so much in the workshop, we decided to go with them above the fireplace in the kitchen, bedroom, and family room.  And, we are so happy we did.

They are a little on the pricey side but so worth it.  You purchase the television and then buy a frame to go with it.  The frames are held together with strong magnets and are very easily attached onto the television. There are so many choices from antique looking ones to very sleek modern ones.  They come in all different colors, as well.  I ended up painting all three of our frames with European Gold RubNBuff because they were a little too bright for me.

Anyway.. I love the art that I have on our Frame TVs right now.  Like I said above, you can download any pictures on it that you want.. from family pictures to pics on Etsy.  I personally love buying the pictures on Etsy because you can get them for a few dollars.  They are stored on your television so you can switch them back every season.

While I was searching around for some new winter art to replace my Christmas pictures, I found some really pretty ones.
