I have been absolutely dying to try this black bean brownie recipe that one of my friends sent to me a few months back. Of course, I figured that if it was delicious, you all would have to know about it, too. I don’t bake much for MANY reasons.
First off, when I bake anything sweet, I absolutely cannot leave the goods alone. A bite here and a bite there leads to me eating the entire pan. And, that isn’t going to help with my goals of shedding a few poundages this year. So I am always on the lookout for healthy alternatives. Secondly, I’m not a fond lover of the clean-up duties after cooking. ???? I despise a million pans to wash and the worst are ones that need to soak in the sink for hours because of all the stuck-on food. I would seriously rather not hassle with it all.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all of the ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a food processor and blend until completely smooth. When all ingredients are blended smooth, stir in the chocolate chips. Pour into a small baking pan… I used my 11 x 7 baker (that comes with an Unlimit Lid) in the Woodland Collection by Tara at Home. Bake them for 15-18 minutes depending on your oven. Just for looks, I sprinkled a few more chocolate chips on the top before baking. Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before digging in. I don’t know why you would care if they were gooey. But, if they are too gooey for you (note I didn’t say MOIST – ????) store them in the fridge to make them a little firmer. I served mine with a few berries which made it just a little healthier and a little more delicious.

I already KNOW that you not only noticed my delicious looking brownies, but you couldn’t help but notice my gorgeous bakeware. The newly launched Woodland Collection by Tara at Home available on QVC is TOTALLY my jam. I mean, all I need to say is they are WHITE! Tara’s collections are so versatile that you can prep and cook out of the same piece. Which are in turn gorgeous enough to serve from. They are refrigerator and freezer safe so you can store your leftovers with ease. Several pieces come with a snap on lid. You can even pop them in the oven or microwave to re-heat your leftovers the next day. You know what that means. It means faster clean up time and a reason to bake more healthy brownies. ????
I had no problem scooping out my brownie from the naturally non-stick feature, which is a must when it comes to bakeware in my opinion. The details of each piece are absolutely gorgeous, which will fit perfectly with my other white dishes under my kitchen island.
You guys… seriously, this is the coolest thing EVER. The Woodland Collection comes with so many versatile pieces. The 11 x 7 baker and the 13 x 9 baker each come with Unlimit Lids. The Unlimit Lids serve as a shallow baking dish, a serving platter, a cutting board, and an actual lid for the bakers. I love pieces that perform many duties.

I tried these brownies for the first time this week and we both absolutely LOVED them. You truly would not know they are made with black beans. This will for sure be a recipe we keep and make time and time again. AND, they will be made in my Woodland bakeware where I can bake, serve, and store in the same piece. And we shant forget the easy clean up… which means NO SOAKY IN THE SINKY! ????
You must make these. Let me know what you think!

Those are such cool dishes/pans. Great color. Mmmmm…black bean brownies!!!
Just saw your stories on IG. I too have “janky” feet and Vionics do wonders for mine. Alas, QVC does not have the slippers in my size, naturally.
Also, knock, knock (no it’s not a knock knock joke) is Deb there and can she come out and play?? Hey Deb, it’s time for your turn in the spotlight you whittling wonder you-how do you sand furniture? The thought of sanding a piece I have by hand gives me the all overs, so do you have secret you can share with me?
Lay off the black bean brownies girls or you’re gonna stink the joint up!

These are SO good!! I didn’t use any sugar, just more Agave, so they were flour and sugar free.
