In-Feed Inspiration: Alaska

Our big trip to Alaska is almost here and Deb and I are anxiously awaiting our departure! So, while last week was all things chickens, this week is all the beautiful Instagram accounts about Alaska!

Alaska Edition

Naderkasfy

Nader Kasfy is a landscape photographer based in Fairbanks, Alaska. He specializes in shooting the Northern Lights, and he sells beautiful fine-art prints of his work. The Alaskan landscapes he photographs have me giddy and so excited for the sites we will see very soon!

Nickbynorthwest

Nick Brown is another photographer who travels the world and has some absolutely stunning images from his time in Alaska. He is currently visiting Italy, so I would expect those images to start rolling in next.

Alaska_.Life

This page is all things Alaska! It is the people, the businesses, the scenery, and the activities. I love that it gives you a variety of topics and also helps you find other pages and people to follow. Their feed feels very natural and fresh because it is the regular people being featured in their everyday experiences. It isn’t dressed up or glamorized. This is probably one of my favorites I found in this search.

Danimarielister

Danielle Marie Lister blogs on her life in the Yukon and Alaska. You will see a lot of the outdoors: skiing, hiking, camping, and paddling. Her images are seriously so beautiful! Look at those views. Can you imagine?!

Jromigphotography_

Jordan Romig Photography is another nature photographer in Alaska, but she incorporates a lot more of the wildlife into her photos than some of the other accounts I have seen. Based on her images, I am just imagining that all of the animals in Alaska are huge! I mean, she does show one squirrel, but the moose, bears, and reindeer are huge!

We leave for our trip in just a few days! While we aren’t necessarily looking forward to a 10-hour flight, we are so excited for all the rest! Temperatures are running in the 50s . It’s not our typical beach vacation, so we did a little vacation shopping and got some new warm sweaters to wear on the trip. Now, we are finishing up some last-minute projects around the property until it’s time to go!
