OK… This isn’t my normal type of recipe. Normally we eat pretty healthy here in this household, so typically those are the recipes that I share. See all of them here. BUT… as you know, you must indulge every now and then. We are attending our oldest grandson’s 5th birthday party today and they requested us to bring some type of salad. We are taking a broccoli cauliflower salad that is usually a big hit. Deb is extra. So she wanted to make this jalapeno popper dip to take, as well. We made this last year for Christmas for our get together with the girls. It was such a hit. It’s actually so delicious and so addicting that taking it to a birthday party is a great idea. Otherwise, I would sit and eat this until it’s gone.
If you love jalapeno poppers, you will LOVE this jalapeno popper dip recipe. It’s not at all too hot and actually tastes BETTER than a popper. We usually eat this with corn tortilla chips, but I’ve been know to eat it by the spoonful. It would also be good on a bagel. YUMMY!
OK, let’s get to it!
10 slices of cooked bacon crumbled
1 – 8oz block of cream cheese
1/3 cup of mayonaise
1/3 cup of sour cream
1 tsp garlic
2 minced jalapenos
1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar – we like sharp
1 1/2 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
We usually cook the bacon in the air fryer for less mess on the stove.
While that is cooking, add to a bowl the cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, garlic powder, and most of the cooked bacon (save the rest for the top), most of the jalapenos (save the rest for the top), 1 cup of each of the cheese, and salt and pepper. Mix well.
Transfer all of that delicious mixture to a baking dish. Add the rest of the cheeses, the bacon, and jalapeno to the top.
Bake 15-20 minutes until this jalapeno popper dip is bubbly and the cheese golden brown. Like I said above, this can be served with tortilla chips, bagels, or even little pieces of bread.
Let me know if you try it. We think this is such a delicious treat!
I have an entire Pinterest Board of high protein recipes that I want to try or already have tried. That list includes ice cream made from chic peas, a creamy banana peanut butter smoothy, vanilla protein pancakes, and many more. Make sure to check them out. And, I will for sure let you know if I try any of the ones I mentioned above. The ice cream one has me very intrigued.

Making this this week. Thank you so much.
Did you make it? Let me know if you liked it! It’s one of our favorites.
I am thinking with all the cream in this dip the spiciness of the jalapeno is pretty calmed down. They say you should drink a glass of milk if you get too much spice on your tongue
