My Fall Make-up Products

I have gotten SO MANY questions over on Instagram about my make-up lately.  I think it’s because I pulled out this eye shadow palette that I bought last year.  Because it has so many warm shades, it’s perfect for Fall and I believe that is what lots of you are noticing.  And maybe it’s because I switched blushes on you…. ????  Nevertheless, I figured I would round everything up here and that way you can always reference back.  Also… you can also check the Shop Tab under Beauty.  I update everything there every time I purchase something new.

Of course, I use all of my normal skincare products up to this point.  So, I will only be listing the actual make-up products.

My Fall Make-up Products

Foundation

IT Cosmetics CC cream is hands down THE BEST foundation I have ever used.  It is many products in one, including beauty serum, moisturizer, primer, color corrector, etc.  I still use a moisturizer under this product.  It is a full coverage foundation and I cannot stress how much I love it.  Medium is the most popular color.  I wear neutral medium in the Summer and medium in the Winter.  I also apply it with the brush that comes along with this set.

Concealer

I use two concealers.  I use Boi-ing Brightening Concealer on my old lady spot. ???? It has a color corrector and has a creamy consistency so it doesn’t “break up” on that spot.  And I use iT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye under my eyes.  This is THE BEST concealer I have found to cover up my old lady dark circles.  I say “old lady dark circles” because they are very different than young lady dark circles.  Old lady dark circles usually include wrinkles.  The Bye Bye Under Eye is very creamy and doesn’t settle into my wrinkles making me look 20 years older than what I am.  I apply it with the brush that comes with this set.

Powder

I am loving the Too Faced Born This Way Setting Powder in translucent.  It is very light and doesn’t settle into the wrinkles.  I apply this with a brush and “tap” it under my eyes after I have used the Bye Bye Under Eye.

Blush

I used this Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer throughout the summer with the Sigma Cheeky Blush Set.   But, I just received this IT Cosmetics Hello Cheekbones palette and absolutely love it.  It’s a warmer tone for Fall/Winter and comes with this funky little brush that does all the work for you.  If you have no clue where to apply contour and highlights, this brush makes it VERY SIMPLE.

Eye Shadow

Like I said above, I bought this palette last year and recently pulled it back out.  The Morphe 35O has so many warm tones which makes it perfect for Fall.  I don’t use eye shadow every day.  Actually I only use it when I’m doing something fancy.  But lots of people notice when I do.  I use almost every color out of this palette.  I usually cover my lid all the way up to my brow with one that matches my skin color.  And then add a darker color into the crease.  I usually end up using 3-4 colors layered on top of each other.

Eye Liner

I use one of the darker colors of the Morphe palette as a liner for my bottom lash line.  I think it looks softer.  If you don’t have a set of brushes, they are a must.  I use a flat one to line my eyes.

Eyelash Curler

I have curled my eyelashes since high school.  It really does make a difference.  I use this one.

Eyelash Primer

I don’t use primer every day, but it truly makes a HUGE difference.  I usually curl my eyelashes, use Lancome Booster XL, and then work on my brows.  If I give the primer a chance to dry a little, it works a bit better when I add mascara.

Mascara

My favorite mascara of all time is IT Cosmetics Superhero.  I have trouble with mascara transferring under my eyes.  The Superhero does not do that.  It’s a thick mascara which I really love.  If you prefer lightweight mascara, try Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.  I love this, also.

Eyebrows

I know you will find this hard to believe but Ulta Girl talked me into trying the Urban Decay Brow Blade. ????  I absolutely LOVE it. I need something that won’t melt off of my face.  I think my eyebrows are on the oily side, so anything that is a little oily SLIDES off of my brows.  The Brow Blade has a pen on one side and a pencil on the other.  The pen makes little brush strokes and the pencil fills in the space.  P.S. I have very few brow hairs.

Lips

I have been loving nude lips these days.  I am still using the WetnWild Simma Brown Now eyeliner as lip liner because I swear it stays longer.  ???? And, I love City Lips in the color Pink Nude.  Honestly, City Beauty City Lips plumping lip color works.  Deb asked if I got fillers when I wore it the first time.

So there you have it.  This is my current routine when I’m getting all fancy.  ???? I usually skip the eye shadow for my every day routine.  It only takes a few minutes to get a very natural look for Fall.
