Neutral Warm Toned Rugs in the Cottage

Neutral Warm Toned RugsNeutral Warm Toned Rugs

I have said a million times over on social media that I am not a gray person.  I love the color in other people’s homes, but I cannot live with it.  Remember me and my color issue. ????   Gray is a color to me and not a neutral. We have so many gray days here in Ohio and I think that plays a part in it, too.  If my surroundings are gray when the sky is gray, I feel very down.  Therefore, everything needs to be bright and white.   When we moved into this cottage, I was on the hunt for a few warm colored, neutral rugs.   The cottage is one huge room so I needed huge rugs to accommodate the size.  Plus, we chose warm colored flooring to go with all of our white furniture… creating my woods and whites decor that I love so much.

I ordered several new neutral, warm colored rugs that I just love.  And trust me, I had to search high and low for them, too.  Most places carry cool blue and gray tones and not very many pretty neutral warm tones.  I wanted to share my favorites that I found, along with a few others that peeked my interest.

Warm Toned Neutral Rugs in the Cottage

I grabbed this huge neutral warm-toned rug, in the color STONE, that we have in the living room section and love it so much.  It is not a big plush rug with lots of cushion, but it is VERY SOFT and so pretty.  It adds just the right amount of warmth with dark brown, cream, and tan.  I love it so much.

The one under the dining room table was a total surprise.  I ordered it because it had all of the warm tones, but the online picture looks SO DIFFERENT from real life.  This is the color VINTAGE STONE CARMEL.  I have a filter on this photo which makes it look a lot closer to the real life colors than the website does.  It is so pretty with different shades of brown, creams, and a light hint of salmon.  The salmon isn’t a bright color so it actually feels very neutral to me.

I grabbed a few runners for in front of the kitchen cabinets and on the opposite side of the bar in the color WARM BEIGE.  They have more of a goldish hue with browns and a little cream.

I am looking for a few more….

There are a few older rugs here in the cottage that I would love to replace.  I have had them for YEARS and they are getting pretty worn.  I found these neutral warm colored rugs in my recent search and will keep you posted on the ones I order.  And, of course, share again when they are in our space.

Use the arrows on each side of these two rugs to see the rest I picked out.  Also, you an click the rug pics to shop.  I will keep you posted on any more that I order.

Hope this helps for all of you who are looking for neutral warm colored rugs for your own space.
