We made a stop at Target the other day to check out their holiday decor and we were very pleasantly surprised by everything they had to offer and at discounted prices! The one thing I had to take home, though, was this 6′ Pre-Lit Flocked Balsam Fir Artificial Christmas Tree!
We have so many Christmas trees in our home. They come in all shapes, sizes, and styles. This year, we have leaned more heavily into the sparse-looking trees. They don’t overpower the space and have a very natural appearance, in my opinion. That’s why when I saw this flocked Balsam Fir tree from Wondershop, I had to add it to my collection.
It is 6-feet tall, but comes in 4-foot, 5-foot, and 6-foot options. Because there are three sizes, you can buy all three and stack them in a corner together for a tiered look.
You normally wouldn’t think about adding a 6-foot tree to a tabletop, but that is exactly what we did. We have 10-foot ceilings in this room, so by adding the tree to our circular dining table it really helped to fill this taller space.
It comes in a wooden wicker basket, but I had this vintage tree stand that I found at an estate sale over the summer. So I used it here. (I’ve shown it with both options). It is also pre-lit with warm white LED lights. It is lightly flocked, but you won’t notice a lot of white shedding from the tree.
The tree is already pre-lit, and because it is a sparse tree I didn’t want to overwhelm the tree with ornaments. I had previously purchased this set of Paper Honeycomb Ornaments from Amazon but hadn’t found a place for them yet. They are lovely shades of white and neutral greens and browns with gold glitter edges. I thought they might be too overpowering for this tree, but I was wrong. They were perfect!
I stayed with a very simplistic look. I only added about half the pack of these ornaments. This look took very minimal work which I greatly appreciate.
I added this tree to an antique circular dining room table. I currently have this table covered with a Vintage-Style Embroidered Cotton Ruffle Tablecloth from Amazon. It comes in 8 sizes. I ordered the 51″-round option. This white tablecloth pairs perfectly with this flocked tree.
I also added these Glory Season Throw Pillow Covers to the pillows on our dining chairs. We went with the color, beige, and again it pairs so well with the rest of the look.
Of course, I have to include an antique piece in my look so I added a Rockingham Bennington Spongeware bowl. You can actually find some of these on Etsy.
I also added the Noble Holiday Balsam & Cedar Green Mercury Ornament Candle from Wayfair. One of our girls had this and I was smitten. It not only smells amazing, but it is gorgeous. It offers 64-hours of burn time and is a soy blend candle.
I know that this is going to change continually, but right now this tree is currently 50% off! It is 100% worth the full price, but if you can get it at a discount then that is fantastic! Here is a round up of other great tree and winter green options from Target.
