We have officially lived in our home for a little over a year. I can’t believe it. Because it honestly feels like we have been here a lot longer. As, it feels so much like home. We have already made a few changes to a few rooms by adding some texture to the walls: family room shiplap, bead board to the kitchen, shiplap on the kitchen fireplace, and bead board to the laundry room. I am working on the wallpaper in the dining room currently, so I will be sharing that soon. The appliance pantry recently got a makeover, too, as it wasn’t working well for us. We made it a coffee bar and appliance pantry both, and it works so much better. So, today, I wanted to share our coffee bar organizational items and decor.
I wanted something hanging on the back wall in our coffee bar area. I thought about a picture, but wound up choosing an antique mirror. This is one that was originally on a cabinet as the other side has a wood panel like a door. I love the original mercury glass affect it gives. I added this little lamp that I bought several months ago. It recently got a makeover as I removed the shade, added a chubby little silicone lightbulb, and used RubNBuff on the black plastic part. I love how it turned out.
On the bar itself, I had to display my antique coffee grinder that I have had for years. It’s perfect to hold up all of my coffee books. We have an espresso machine that we use only for cold coffee and nothing exciting. But, we have been trying a lot of different coffee drinks with flavored syrups, etc, from those books. I will be sharing any of those exciting drinks once we perfect them.
Every time I talk about coffee, I get messages asking about our coffee maker. We have bought three of these in over 20 years. They last FOREVER. The first one lasted for 15 years.. the second one is in the workshop, and the third one is here in the house. It grinds the beans fresh every day and makes such a great cup of coffee. It is pricier but worth it in my book, since they last so long.

Of course with a coffee bar, you need coffee cups, glasses for cold coffee, containers, stir spoons, etc. I have had several of these items stored away in drawers but decided to keep them displayed so they are at our fingertips while making our specialty coffees. I linked them all below.

What a beautiful coffee bar! You have such a knack for beautiful displays! Would you mind sharing what espresso machine you have as well as how you like it?
Thank you! It is a Calphalon Espresso Machine and is a bit more of the pricey side: https://amzn.to/3Sfk3f7. There is a cheaper option, though, without the attached grinder.
Love the rabbits and mirror. Beautiful coffee bar styling.
You ladies are amazing! The coffee bar looks beautiful like everything else you’ve done. Searching for a source for the little light bulb on the little lamp. Where can I get those?
The gold bunny??? Is that a Wesley goodie???!!
