Fall is my favorite season to decorate. Here in Ohio, it is WAY too short though. The leaves change color and then they are completely gone in about 3 weeks time frame. BUT, our house usually stays decorated for a good 6-8 weeks. I start fairly early to give all of you ideas for your own home. In fact, I keep all of my fall posts in one spot so they are easy for you to find.
One of my favorite ways to make a quick and easy transition to fall is to add stems and a few other things listed below. Fall stems are usually inexpensive and can be tucked pretty much anywhere: on shelves, behind glass cabinet doors, in pitchers, buckets, and crocks. And, it takes a split couple of seconds.
I recently added fall to the kitchen here in the cottage. I simply removed some of my artificial green plants and added stems. And, I like how it turned out.
I rounded up a bunch of stems that I thought would work any place in the house. A lot of them are excellent prices, too. Click the pics below for the link and also keep scrolling for more ideas.
A few weeks back, I shared 9 different places to use wreaths in your home. That post is filled with different ideas for a quick and simple switch to fall with little effort. After all, that’s what it’s about.
That is my motto… throw a pumpkin on it. Tuck a pumpkin anywhere. Place them on a side table, on your kitchen countertop, coffee table, etc.
We rounded up a lot of different fall looks and keep them in our LTK Profile. If you don’t follow us there, I highly recommend it. I use LTK like google. When I am looking for a particular item, I search there and a lot of ideas pop up.

So beautiful!
