Teami Tea Blends and The Most Popular Netflix Series

What do you do in the dead of Winter?  You know.. when its freezing cold and dark outside at 5pm?  UGH.  I cannot stand it.  I get all sour and irritable because I feel like my couch is my whole life during the Winter.  My “special light” is helping tremendously with my Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) and the overall JANKY feeling I used to get in the Winters.  But that doesn’t help the boredom I feel of a life stuck inside the house.   There are a two things we do WAY more in the Winter than any other month.  We drink lots of hot tea and watch Netflix.

Teami Tea Blends

The Most Popular Netflix Series

Since we are stuck on the couch for months on end, why not drink hot tea while binge watching Netflix.  At the arrival of every single Winter, we sign back up for Netflix and cancel it in the Spring.  I started a conversation a few days back on Instagram about current Netflix shows everyone was watching.  I had an overwhelming amount of messages regarding everyone’s favorite shows.  And, an equal amount of messages wanting me to report back and make a list.  So I threw together a list below of the most popular netflix series, all according to you guys.

Oh…. and by the way.  For those of you who aren’t on Instagram, you are totally missing out on so much fun.  We have the most wonderful community over there.  And for those of you who are, do you agree?  Tell those who aren’t on the platform, what they are missing out on in the comments below. ????

Netflix – The Series YOU Suggested

(I am not at all getting paid by Netflix for this post, I just did this for all of us to reference back to.)

We have already watched a few of these series.  I will love having this list because there will always be something for everyone.  AND, when all of my Instagram friends suggest something, usually it’s a great thing since we all have so much in common.  I took all of the MOST COMMON suggestions and added them below.  Obviously, I have no clue what the ratings are as far as curse words, sex, violence, or whether it may be offensive to some.  I’m only reporting what I have heard.  So… don’t hold me against any of these suggestions.  If one of them is not your cup of tea, simply STEP AWAY FROM THE NETFLIX.  ????

I thought I would give our opinions on the shows we have watched…. and maybe add to this post once we are done with more series.

Better Call Saul – 4 Seasons – I hear if you love Breaking Bad, you NEED to watch this.  It’s sort of a “follow up” to that.

Bodyguard – 1 Season

Breaking Bad – 5 Seasons – We started watching this several years back and I found it overwhelmingly depressing, due to the drugs, etc.  But, we started it again last Winter and binged it until it was done.  We both loved it and actually felt sad when it was over.  I miss Walter White.

Broadchurch – 2 Seasons – A murder mystery of a little boy who was found dead.  It is sooooo good and keeps you in suspense.

Designated Survivor – 2 Seasons

Dexter – 8 Seasons – Oh my gahhhhhhhh!  Dexter is serial killer who you just hate so much in the beginning and can’t believe what he does.  And we ended up loving him.  ????  We were so sad when this was over, too.

Making a Murderer – 2 Seasons – We watched the first season last year in a few days.  We need to watch the second.  LOVED IT!  It is VERY interesting in regards to what may go on in law enforcement.

Nurse Jackie – 7 Seasons (30 min episodes)  – This was one of my all time favorite series about an addicted ER nurse. It is just so good and keeps you on your toes.  Since the episodes are only 30 minutes long, we squeezed them in between every single thing we did.  We were working on this house and our flip house at the same time.  We went home for lunch and watched an episode while we ate.  It is FANTASTIC.

Orange is the New Black – 6 Seasons – We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this series.  We are about two series behind though.  Sooooo we must add this.  What goes on in a women’s prison……

Ozark – 2 Seasons – A normal looking financial planner and money launderer moves his family and gets involved in the drug cartel.  It is FANTASTIC.  This is probably the most suggested one I received.  Since it’s only two seasons, you will be able to watch this in a weekend.  ????

Peaky Blinders – 4 Seasons – SOOOOOOO many suggestions for this.

Schitt’s Creek – 4 Seasons –  This is one we started last year and got through the first season so we need to finish it.  It is absolutely HYSTERICAL.  A very well-to-do family lost it all and end up in the only town they own.. Schitt’s Creek.  They are all VERY uncomfortable, to say the least.

Shameless – 8 Seasons – This is about the most effed up show I’ve seen … like…. EVER.  Frank is a horrible alcoholic and has a load of kids who are also screwed up, but together the family is functional.  It’s soooo bizarre to watch.  And COMPLETELY HYSTERICAL.  I remember watching the very first episode and saying, “Well…this movie is filled with total dysfunction and filth….  we are going to LOVE it!”

Stranger Things – 2 Seasons

The Haunting of Hill House – 1 Season This will be our next one because I’ve heard SO MUCH about it.

The Kominsky Method – 1 Season

The Ranch – 3 Seasons

The Sinner – 1 Season – Like I mentioned above.  We watched this in two evenings.  It was a fantastic murder mystery that leaves you on your toes.

Weeds – 8 Seasons – We watched this years ago and I remember loving it and being addicted.  It’s about a housewife who finds herself selling weed.  It’s very inappropriate but hilarious.  (From what I can remember)

Wentworth – 6 Seasons

13 Reasons Why – 2 Seasons – We only watched the first season, but need to watch the second.  It’s fantastic.  It’s about a girl who records a series of tapes explaining why she took her own life.
