Tula Skincare: Why I Love Their Products

I’ve been talking about finding a great skincare line for people my age for quite some time now.  And, if you follow me over on Instagram, you already know this. I’ve tried and shared a few different brands here and there and I’ve never really found anything that makes my old odd ball skin feel fantastic.  I mean, that’s what it’s all about.  Using a skincare line that HELPS your skin look and feel the best.

My skin has always been normal to oily, but dry skin right around my nose was becoming an issue.  And, as I get older, the wrinkles around my eyes are becoming a lot more magnified, too… which is normal as we age.  I was applying so many different creams and potions (as Deb calls them) to fight the dryness.  I even started slathering on some type of oil around my nose that I’ve had for 5 years, even though I have no clue what it was.  ???? Nothing was working. ❤️  When I started really thinking back about when my skin FELT the best, it was when I used my old tried and true Tula Products that I used for a few years before.

Tula Skincare

I literally had no reason to stop using Tula Skincare a few months back …. I simply ran out of some items and was too lazy to reorder them.  #procrastinator  ???? Recently, I restocked all of my Tula products and remember why I loved them in the first place.  Here are the facts about Tula Skincare….

First off, Tula products are made with probiotics and superfoods.  Probiotics are the good bacteria that are naturally found in our bodies that help soothe the inflammation.  Their products are 100% free from all of the bad stuff like parabens, gluten, and mineral oil.  They are cruelty free and never test on animals… ❤️ You all know THAT makes me happy.  I wanted to share the Tula skincare products that I am currently using and LOVE.

Clean it up…

I use the Purifying Face Cleanser every morning and at night to remove my make-up.  The cleanser leaves my face feeling so fresh and clean.  And, it even removes my mascara.  Several times a week, I add in the Exfoliating Sugar Scrub to really get a good clean.  This is actually my favorite step.  The Sugar Scrub smells like pineapple, so it reminds me of sitting by the pool with a refreshing cocktail.  It literally melts on my skin while gently exfoliating.  It is heavenly.

Tone it up…

The Resurfacing Toner is actually made with beet and blueberry that helps hydrate.  I’ve used several other toners that leave my face dry and the Resurfacing Toner doesn’t do that.  Basically it’s the next step of hydration.

Dew it up…

I have noticed a HUGE difference in my moisturizing benefits of Tula. Remember my dry nose that I slathered on some five year old oily stuff that wasn’t working?  ???? The VERY FIRST night I used my Tula Hydrating Day and Night Cream, I woke up the next morning looking so much better.  That dry skin around my nose was significantly decreased and by the third day, it was gone.  I battled that problem for months.  The Hydrating Day and Night Cream has a light whipped texture and feels so good on my skin.  I use it in the morning and at night.

As far as eye creams go, I am using the Revitalizing Eye Cream morning and night.  It is lightweight and hydrates my dry under eye area so well.

What Else You Need to Know

Tula has an area on their website where you can take a Skin Quiz.  By answering a few simple questions, they match you up with the exact products you need for your needs. Snoop around their website.  It explains all of the natural ingredients that are in their products and what they actually do for our skin and shows the proof through studies.

Tula is actually launching new products every couple of weeks so be sure to join the waitlist.  That simply means YOU get access before the public does.  Which is a great thing considering their product launches are HUGE….  I’ve been testing a few of their new items and cannot wait to share them with you.

A Few New Tula Products that I’m LOVING

Make-up Removing Balm:  Makeup Melt Removing Balm comes in a stick form which makes it perfect for carrying in my bag and for traveling.  It’s also great for quick clean-ups for my make-up mishaps… aka mascara smudges, dark lipstick stained lips, etc.

Brighten Up Smoothing Primer Gel:  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this primer gel.  I wasn’t in the habit of using primer and couldn’t figure out why my make-up looked broken up on my face.  That’s the only way I can describe it.  This primer gel prevents that from happening and helps my make-up look fresher all day.

I am SO VERY happy I’m back with Tula.  It’s like we separated for a little bit and we are reunited.  ???? Reunited and it feels so good!!! ????  The very first morning I woke up from using Tula again, I immediately noticed how hydrated my face felt.  Deb even said that same thing… along with, “Why did you stop buying this in the first place?”  ????  Laziness, Deb…. pure laziness.

For all of you who have been looking for a great skincare line, look no more.  Tula is THE BEST I’ve found.

Use code DANDD (for Deb and Danelle) when ordering to get 15% off of your entire order.  (Does not apply to auto-ship items.)

Thank you Tula for collaborating with me on this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
