A Few Practical Gift Ideas for Easter

This post is sponsored by QVC and ShopStyle Collective.

There are a few major events/holidays coming up soon.  Can you believe that Easter is right around the corner?  Then comes Mother’s and Father’s Day.  I am not complaining because that means it’s warmer weather time.  And we will be able to hang out on the porch.  Every single morning, Deb and I, (and Ivy, of course) head to the porch and enjoy our coffee and the peace that nature brings.  We watch the birds making their nests and listen to them calling to each other.  Last year, we even saw a cute little mink walk right by us.  Thank goodness that Ivy’s head was already covered up because she would have “protected us” from that mink.  If you don’t know what they look like, you need to look, them up.  They are pretty cute.  We were quiet… so he didn’t even know we were there.  He appeared to be enjoying nature as much as we were as he bee-bopped about 10′ from us.  ????

I have recently  gotten a few different items from QVC and I thought they would make such great gift ideas for Easter baskets, etc.  We love QVC and share for them quite often.  QVC pretty much has everything you can think of.  I love checking their Today’s Special Values because you never know what great items will pop up.  Several items are only available at QVC.  Plus, they offer such great codes to save even more money.

Active codes are:

  • SURPRISE: $10 off orders of $25 or more on your first purchase

  • HELLO10: $10 off orders of $25 or more on your second purchase

A Few Practical Gift Ideas for Easter

Bell & Howell Set of 4 Taclight High Performance Flashlights

If you get your adult kids Easter baskets, these flashlights would be perfect to add to them.  Or if you are an early Christmas shopper, here you go.  They have a zoom light function and five light modes:  high, medium, low, strobe, and SOS.  And they are the perfect size to store really anywhere.  There are four to a set so you can break up the set and give four separate gifts.  I just know our grandsons would even love these as well.

Sole Set of 6 Shatter- Resistant Wine Glasses

I don’t know about you, but I’ve broken a few wine glasses in my lifetime.  ????  They always get knocked over.  And I even drop them in the sink while washing them.  Well, not anymore.  We grabbed a pair of these shatter-resistant wine glasses and LOVE them.  They have a nice shape and will be perfect for using around the campfire.  No worries about shattering glass.

Dash Set of 3 Mini Spring Shaped Waffle Maker w/ Gift Box

HOW CUTE are these mini waffle makers?  This is another great idea for gift giving of any sort.  These come in a set of three for one great price.  Not only do they have a pretty shape for the waffles, but they come in these gorgeous spring colors.  This would also be a great gift idea for kids or grandkids.

82″ Olive Artificial Tree by Nearly Natural

I have had this 82″ olive tree for a long time.  And I still think it is one of the most gorgeous ones around.  I wanted to include it in this post because it is a perfect size to tuck into any space or any corner.  It seems like every time they are available, they sell out.  So grab it this time around because the price is right.

Don’t forget to use these codes:

  • SURPRISE: $10 off orders of $25 or more on your first purchase

  • HELLO10: $10 off orders of $25 or more on your second purchase

  • I enjoyed your post about recovering from your vacation. I'm considerably older than the two of you and discovered about eight years ago that after multi-tasking like crazy during most of my working life, upon retirement suddenly I seemed capable of only doing one major task on any particular day. And after I accomplish that, whether it is grocery shopping, a trip to the chiropractor or just a thrift store outing, I am totally fatigued. I've always been a morning person, but these days an equally aging cat gets me up two and three times a night because she can no longer jump up on the bed and won't do steps. Usually, the final time, around 4 a.m., I just get up. So, you know what time I toddle off to bed at night, ostensibly to read, but I fall asleep almost immediately. I have a June trip planned for my grandniece's wedding and can just imagine what a lively house guest I'm going to be and what a wreck I'll be upon my return! Can't wait for you to start on your new house!

    • We feel you Teddee! Congratulations on your grandnieces wedding. What an exciting time! And thank you, we are so very excited to be living in our new house soon.
