Scan and Go with Walmart+ and Skillet Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe

This post is sponsored by Walmart and ShopStyle.  All opinions are my own.

I have shared this recipe so many times over on social media and thought it needed a special place right here.  It is SO DANG GOOD!  I just got back from grabbing all of the ingredients I needed at Walmart.  I used the Scan&Go Feature which is one of our favorite things about the Walmart+ membership because it saves so much time. If you’ve been around a while, you’ve probably heard us talk about how much we LOVE the new Walmart+ membership.  If you haven’t heard about yet, you’re guaranteed to love all the benefits! It’s so convenient as far as saving time and money because it includes free next-day or two-day shipping on any item from Walmart. Best part?  No minimum order is required to be eligible for this fast shipping. This is where we got all of our ingredients to make a simple chicken cordon bleu recipe you can see below.

Like I said, our favorite part of the Walmart+ membership is the convenience of the new scan&go feature on the app that is for in-store shopping. Scan, pay, and be on your way when using this feature because it’s a contact-free checkout which ultimately means less time spent waiting in lines or at the register!   It is such a time saver when we are in a hurry to get to work on the cottage. ????   Walmart+ has made shopping so timely and safe for us as members especially during the times we’re living in.  Walmart+ also offers it’s members FREE same-day delivery in certain areas of the country.

Onto the Recipe

Skillet Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe – 2 servings

1 1/2 cups cooked shredded chickenWe like the kind that is already cooked in the Walmart deli section to speed things up.

2 oz uncured ham

1 oz butter

1 1/2 oz cream cheese

1 oz swiss cheese

Directions:  Melt butter in skillet on medium heat.  Add chicken, ham, and cream cheese until the cream cheese is melted.  Once that is thoroughly warmed, add the swiss cheese to the top until melted.

We like to serve this with air-fried brussel sprouts.

SO DELICIOUS!

Let me know if you try this recipe and how you like it.  Oh… and let me know if you sign up for the Walmart+ membership.

By becoming a Walmart+ member for only $12.95 per month or $98 per year, you will be so surprised at how much money and time you save. We personally chose the year option, because obviously it is less expensive.  However, if you’re unsure about becoming a member, Walmart+ offers a 15-day free trial to try it out.

ALSO…..

As a Walmart+ member, you’ll also save 5 cents per gallon at Walmart and Murphy gas stations (including Sam’s Club fuel centers) covering over 2,000 convenient locations.  The savings on gas pays for our membership in no time.

Check out Walmart+ membership.  I know you will love it as much as we do.

  • I made Skillet Chicken Cordon Bleu tonight and it’s really tasty! It’s a nice alternative for chicken. And a nice low carb, sugar free option. Thank you for sharing it Deb and Danelle! I think next time I’ll add some chopped asparagus.
