Creating a Timeless Holiday Tablescape with The Home Depot

THIS POST IS SPONSORED BY THE HOME DEPOT.

If you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet, it is time to start preparing your home for the upcoming holiday season, and The Home Depot has an amazing selection of home products to create a warm and timeless space for entertaining guests. Better yet, this is the perfect time to pick up a couple feel-good splurge items with The Home Depot’s Black Friday Event.

Create a Welcoming Holiday Table

First, let me mention that The Home Depot’s Black Friday Event is happening now, through 12/6 – get up to 40% off Select Furniture, Décor, and Kitchen Essentials! Their home decor items are online only and ship right to your door. How much easier can it get?! This makes it the absolute best time to find the perfect home items to fit your style and decor at limited-time holiday pricing.

Elevated Pieces to Add Height

When setting a table, a lot of people focus on the necessities, such as a tablecloth, eating utensils, and plates, but they often forget to add the decor pieces that add height and act as a focal point to your tablescape. This can be done with a tiered serving tray, candle holders, or an artificial tree. And you know me, I love to double duty my kitchen items in my decor.  So, today, I want to show you how I would do that with a lot of these pieces. Plus, these items make great gift ideas for a host or hostess in your life!

Brown Mango Wood Candle Holder

This set of three turned-style candle holders measure 24″H, 21″H, and 18″H for a whole lot of height and dimension. The warm mocha-brown wood with a light matte white-washed finish offers a classic and under-stated luxurious appeal. Add any three candles to add your own style or to change the look with the seasons.  These are the start of my dining room mantel right now but would look fabulous down the middle of your table. I feel like this is one of those items that you could put in a gift exchange and absolutely every person would love getting it!

White Marble Natural Serving Tray

This is one of my absolute favorite serving trays and I leave it displayed in my home all year long! It becomes a centerpiece, though, during the holiday seasons. When entertaining, you can top this with a favorite dessert or additional decor items for an added effect. Or add some fake baked items like I do for the time between holidays. This is the perfect gift for someone who loves spending time in the kitchen.

Stoneware / Dinnerware

Holly and Ivy 4-Piece Holiday EarthenWare Dinnerware Set

No holiday meal is complete without a beautiful dinnerware set! This four-piece ceramic set features holly and pine with embossed white birch rims. They are both dishwasher and microwave safe. They add just enough color while still offering a muted woodland theme.  You now how much I love to stack plates on the countertop or the middle of the table.  Well these are absolutely gorgeous out within your decor throughout the season. I feel like these are the perfect gift for mom- to update her collection!

In The Forest 11″ Owl Stone Mixing Bowl

Yes, The Home Depot even has the perfect mixing bowl for your holiday party. This bowl is microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe, which makes it perfect for making your favorite holiday recipes. Even better, the intricate forest scenes makes it perfect for serving your favorite dishes at the table, as well.

In The Forest 9.75″ Batter Bowl

If you love the mixing bowl, then you also need to check out the corresponding batter bowl from the In The Forest set. Wouldn’t this make the perfect gift combination! Its large size makes it perfect for both whisking and mixing ingredients, and the pouring lip and handle make it convenient for pouring batter or gravy. This bowl is also microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe.

Original Cane 9.75″, 70 fl. oz. Batter Bowl

This stoneware batter bowl has a classic design as compared to the last but offers all the same great benefits and features. It also incorporates a lovely warm cream color as compared to the white stoneware from the In the Forest set.

All of the above three could be displayed on a shelf in your kitchen or dining room.  Hang one of the batter bowls from a hook or a peg for a great casual look.

Serving Ware

Everyday DuraStone Brown Stoneware Gingerbread Tree Serving Tray

Tis the season for a beautiful three-section gingerbread tree tray! This festive tray is perfect for putting out appetizers, cookies, and other treats. It is a dishwasher safe and durable enough that it’s not going to get chipped when the kiddos come up to sneak a cookie or two. It would look cute throughout the entire holiday season filled with candy on your countertops.

Unfortunately, it looks like this item is currently out of stock, but you can find a similar tree serving tray here: White Porcelain Tree Shaped Serving Tray

Shovel Shaped Brown Charcuterie Serving Board with Handle

Can you even believe this serving board is from The Home Depot! They really do have all the latest fashions available from their home decor department. This 19″ Acacia Wood board is that piece that adds a little richness to your table! It can be used for a variety of serving purposes, such as presenting cheeses, meats, sandwiches, flatbreads, nuts, and crackers… basically all the good finger foods! I have this hanging on a hook in my kitchen as decor and also for easy access and last minute gatherings.

Vintage Vibe Serving Board with Floral Dragonfly Design

The rustic floral design on this mango-wood charcuterie board won me over with its romantic visual appeal. It is 16″ x 9″ which makes it big enough for serving a big group while entertaining during the holidays, or it can be hung or leaned against the wall in your kitchen and used as wall decor. Serving boards are going to big a huge this holiday season, but I feel like this particular one has a little more character than the rest making it an excellent gift choice!

Whether you are entertaining guests next week or in a month, the The Home Depot’s Black Friday Event event makes it the perfect time to start setting the table! In a month’s time, I will probably set my table for guests and reset it again! With these amazing prices, I feel much less guilty doing that, though!
