Decorating the Entryway for Fall

This blog post is written in collaboration with Walmart.  I have been compensated by Walmart for this post but, as always, all opinions are my own.

Yes…. we are moving.  I am sure you are questioning that since I am decorating the entryway for Fall.  But, in case you didn’t know that, watch our janky you-tube video where we announced it.  And don’t forget to subscribe to our channel… because there will be more videos coming your way.  Hopefully less janky ones.  ???? Now that I have THAT out of the way, I decided to throw together a quick post of how I would decorate our entryway if we were staying here.  ????  I personally don’t know if I am coming or going at the moment, BUT I threw this look together in a few minutes at very little cost.   And thought I would share.

I got most of these items from WalmartWalmart really does have such great prices for ALL OF THE THINGS.  And they have such a wide selection of different Home items.  Check them out when you are looking for your Fall decor.

Decorating the Entryway for Fall

The Basics

The first thing I love to incorporate in an entryway is some type of chair or bench to have a seat.  Or just to throw your junk on until you make the next trip upstairs.  ????  This cute little tufted chair is such a great price and will basically fit anywhere.  Ask Deb.  I say one can never have enough chairs.  You can really shove them in any corner of a room.  I have two of them around our table.  They look so classy with their tufted backs.  This particular one comes in this cream color and a gray one.  I absolutely love them!

I chose a few more options that caught my eye from this line at Walmart.  Truly… they are such great quality if you are on a tight budget.

SHOP CHAIRS

You THEN, of course need a pillow to decorate your chair.  And, a throw.  I mean…….. throws are SO COZY for Fall.  This chenille throw blanket is just SOOOO SOFT.  I just love it!  I am a fond lover of seasonal pillow covers because storing them is so much easier than having a bunch of full pillows.  This “Start Each Day with a Grateful Heart” pillow cover is a perfect reminder to all of us every day.  Not just on a holiday or during one season.

SHOP PILLOWS

All the extras for Fall decor…

What is Fall without pumpkins?  I added small mismatched Christmas trees on every step last year for my Winter decor.  So, I loved the idea of using miscellaneous pumpkins for this Fall Entryway idea, too.  The faux green ones  come in a pack of two and are such a great deal.  I think the striped fabric ones look really cute thrown in a basket for a basket full of pumpkins!

SHOP PUMPKINS

Speaking of baskets… I LOVE this huge basket with handles.  You can store your extra pillows in it or use it for shoes.  You can also throw all of that junk I talked about earlier in it and carry it upstairs in one trip.  Hey… that’s a fabulous idea I just came up with.  ????

SHOP BASKETS

This will probably be the last time I post any new home decor in the entryway of the House on Winchester.  I am hopefully going to throw together another you-tube video explaining what we have planned for our new house.  I think you will be shocked, or maybe not, when we reveal our plans.  Follow us over on Instagram and Facebook so you can get the updates.
