Gift Guide for People Who need to Relax

It is getting to that time of year when I get easily burnt out and need a break! I think a lot of it is knowing that the cold weather is setting in and we are about to be stuck inside all winter. Blah….  So, today I am going to sharing a gift guide for people who need to relax.  Which means, this gift guide is good for all people.  Ha!

Spa and relaxation items are always perfect for gift exchanges, as well!

Gift Guide for People Who need to Relax

I shared my favorite neck and shoulder massager a few weeks back on social media, and so many of you mentioned that you have it and love it. So I know I am not the only one who needs a deep massage every now and then. These products from Amazon are cost effective and can be used for an at-home spa day or on a day-to-day basis when you need to calm your body and mind.

At-Home Massagers

I mentioned that we love our neck and shoulder massager! The best part about this item is that you can create your own massage without relying on someone else. This is not only great for your neck and shoulders, but you can also run this across tired muscles in your legs or under your sore feet! In addition to a shiatsu massage, it also provides heat which makes it extra relaxing during the cold winter months. This is a must have in my book!  When I feel the stress of every day life coming on, I break this out and you wouldn’t believe how much if helps the knots in my neck.  Everyone loves a good massage, but booking and going to an actual massage appointment can be hard sometimes, so these at-home massage products make a great alternative when you can’t or don’t want to leave the house. Like me!

Our massager was such a quality product that we also purchased the Portable Mini Massage Gun. It is rechargeable, cordless, and has interchangeable massage heads. I love this for aching muscles in my arms and legs.. and also for the large knots in my neck.

Deb requires a foot massage!  She carries all of her tension in her feet.

We have had our foot massager for years, but it’s no longer available for purchase. But you can pick up this one. It offers the same as ours does: compression, kneading, vibration, and heat. If you have been on your feet for an extended period, this is AMAZING! It removes so much tension from your entire body.

Other notable products that I would love to try are their Plantar Fasciitis Kneeding Foot Massager and Vibration Massage Seat Cushion with Heat

At-Home Massagers

For those of you who love to take baths to relax, we have you covered.

The first thing to consider is lighting. A bright bathroom light is not going to do the trick. It is all about candles for me! It doesn’t matter if you want to add real candles or battery operated.  I have and love both!  If you want to add battery operated candles across your vanity or around the bath, I highly recommend these Battery Operated Flameless Candles.  They are made with real wax, have a timer, and can be operated via remote. If you want to add a real candle, check out this Healing Crystal Candle from Craft and Kin. I feel like this is something I would see in the room of an actual spa, and it has a soothing scent of eucalyptus and wild lavender.

Next, you need to add some sound! The Homedics SoundSleep White Noise Sound Machine has six relaxing nature sounds with a timer and volume control. I prefer the rain or thunder sounds.

Also, try adding this Luxury Bathtub Tray.  It is expandable to fit a variety of bathtub sizes and folds away for easy storage. It has a slot to secure your favorite wine glass, a spot to hold your phone while you ready or watch a movie, as well as extra slots of snacks, candles, bath items, etc.

Other items I would recommend adding to your experience, include these Aromatherapy Shower Steamers, Aromatic Fresh Farm-Grown Eucalyptus Shower Bouquets, Self Care Eucalyptus Essential Oil Shower Spray, Solid Wood Dry Body Brush, Boar Bristle Hair Brush, and this Himalayan Pink Salt and Jasmine Bath Salts. These all make such great gifts and will leave you feeling peaceful and pampered.

Night on the Couch

I am sure you have heard the term, Netflix and Chill, and sometimes that is the best course of action! A good movie, show, or book can pull your mind away from your everyday life and help you escape. It doesn’t take much, though, to go from your normal evening on the couch to a night of relaxation. And, who doesn’t like a night on the couch!

Grab your favorite drink! Check out these gorgeous Vintage Wine Glasses. We have been making our own wine lately, so this is a must-have item for us. You also can’t forget the snacks! Grab one of these Extra Large Wooden Charcuterie Boards from Royal Craft Wood! This is great for your fruits, cheeses, nuts and grains, and crackers. You know I am loading mine up with all the fruit! Mmm!

And, a cozy throw blanket is a must! We switch out our throw blankets fairly often to add new textures, colors, and to freshen them up. Check out this amazingly-soft Eddie Bauer Sherpa Throw Blanket. I love the colors, dual textures, and it just looks like a teddy bear which makes me happy for some reason.

A few more extras include…

Check out this beautiful diffuser for larger rooms such as a living room. You can pair it with this super-popular Sesneslabs Amber Coco Vanilaa Cedar Sandlewood Musk Essential Oil.

If you don’t have easy access to an end table, I would also highly recommend this Sofa Arm Table. Add it to the arm of your couch or chair for a place to sit your phone, remotes, or drink. It’s surprisingly sturdy!

You can mix and match so many of these Amazon items from across each of these three categories to create your own personal time of relaxation. Whatever it takes to release some tension after a long day and ease your mind! We all need this from time to time, and so often we don’t take the time to do this! So, here that little extra push you may have been needing to pamper yourself or help someone else feel pampered.
