We have five porches to decorate this year and make cozy, which includes the two at Deb’s workshop.  I cannot believe it.  I also can’t believe that it’s April already.  Which means that soon, we will be spending every waking moment outside on our porches.   I recently ordered a few things for our porch decor for this upcoming season.  And, since I feel like I am the queen of finding hidden gems online, I wanted to share them with you, as well.  What I mean by “hidden gems” is… I like to find inexpensive items that look expensive, but are great quality.  

Our Porch Decor for this Upcoming Season

I mentioned above that we have five porches to decorate this year.  We already have some of the furniture from the previous years when we lived at the cottage, aka Deb’s workshop.  So we will be using that again.. maybe in different places. I’m not sure yet.  But, we have the front porch here on the house, which is roughly 10’x40′, and the back porch, which is off of the kitchen.  The grill will be on that one, so we want a table and chair set out there.  And, then there is the small screened porch off of our bedroom.  The small screened porch is where I want two simple gliders.  We saw some last summer that were Amish-made and looked like Adirondack chairs.  I love to rock or swing in our outdoor spaces. If those gliders are old-lady chairs, don’t tell me. Ha! Because it’s what I want out there and have my heart set on them.  Being off of our bedroom, I can see us drinking coffee out there in the summer and enjoying the sunsets.  

The front porch is large so I want to divide that into two sections.  Each section currently has a porch swing on each side.  So I need a few pieces of furniture to add to each section.  I found this gorgeous all-weather wicker outdoor love seat and ottoman set and LOVE it!  The wicker is so pretty on it.  And it, of course, matches my woods and whites color palette.

We also have our fire pit that we got last year that looks like a bit piece of wood.  We use it almost every day so that will end up somewhere, too.  I just don’t know where yet.

Planters and Flower Pots for the Porch

I found a lot of planters and flower pots for the porches as well.  I absolutely cannot wait to add ferns and flowers to them. Exciting times ahead.  Stay tuned for all of these areas decorated for the upcoming season.  And, you can click on the pictures below for individual links.
