QVC Finds for October

THIS POST IS SPONSORED BY QVC AND COLLECTIVE VOICE.

You know I love sharing my favorite finds from QVC each month. It is my one stop shop for apparel, electronics, home, beauty, and so much more. But, I especially love shopping QVC deals as the holiday season approaches! They offer something for everyone on your shopping list.

While I had every intention of starting my holiday shopping, I ended up discovering a few things I just had to have for myself. As you would expect from any QVC haul, I found a little bit of everything. So if you’re browsing QVC’s site and you don’t know where to begin, be sure to check Today’s Special Value because these prices are the ones you won’t find anywhere else.

My Favorite Items from QVC for October

Dyson V8 Animal Extra De-tangle Cordfree Vacuum with 8 Tools

So many of our followers have mentioned that they are on the search for a new Dyson vacuum or that they absolutely love their current Dyson Vacuum, so I really wanted to give one of these a try. Deb has a slight vacuum obsession, so when I showed her this find and at its current price she was quick to give me the okay!

Let me tell you why this thing is so great. First, it is really powerful! Just when I realized how impressed I was with its suction power, I discovered the max-suction mode! Wow! If you have a pet in the house, this is a must have. Ivy is the best dog, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t shed a bit… This does a great job pulling her stubborn little hairs from our area rugs.

Second, it is cordless! That means no unplugging it from room to room. It has a docking station/charger and can run for 40 minutes between charges! So many of our previous cordless vacuums maxed out around 20 minutes.

It has detangling technology that clears wrapped hair from the brush bar. I have so much hair and probably shed as much as Ivy, so I love this feature! It has a small dust bin that is easy to remove and dump at the end of cleaning. Everything is just so convenient, which is why it is no surprise that this thing comes with so many accessories: including a V8 wand, motorbar cleaner head, combination tool, crevice tool, mini soft dusting brush, stubborn dirt brush, mattress tool, up-top tool, extension hose, and hair screw tool.

This will clean our hardwood floors and area rugs, and it also converts into a small handheld vacuum. This feature is great if we want to clean up a small mess in one of our vehicles without doing a full detail with the shop vac. Overall, it is Deb approved… oh, and I love it too.

Duraflame Infrared Stove Heater with Remote and 3D Flame Effect

The cold weather has arrived in rural Ohio, but we aren’t ready! That is where this Duraflame Infrared Stove Heater comes in! We aren’t quite ready to commit to turning on the heat in our home, so it can get a little cool at night. This is perfect for us, but Ivy is always cold. Not only does she burrow into her fluffy bed under a pile of blankets, but she does so in front of her very own personal heater! Spoiled, I know.

This heater wasn’t originally meant for our pup, but she has now claimed it as her own. What she doesn’t realize is that while she thinks she is the queen bee getting her own heater, Deb and I are actually sitting back and soaking in the extra heat in the room while also enjoying the ambience of the flickering firelight.

Here is what you will love about this thing. First, the safety feature: it has an over-heat shutoff function. Second, it offers 1500 watts of power to provide a secondary heat to your favorite room. It has a beautiful 3D flame affect with five brightness settings. It has a magnetic remote as well as a timer setting. And with six color options, you will find a look to fit your style.

There are so many fireplace heaters out there, but this one offers, quality, reliability, functionality, and style. It has it all in our books.

ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Green Fig Cleansing Balm & Apricot Toner

You know I love my Elemis products, and QVC is the best place to find them! Like all other Elemis products, you won’t be disappointed with this hydrating cleansing balm. It perfectly removes your makeup while also washing away all the buildup from your day.

I use this once a day, and it only requires a pea-size of product which means a little goes a long way!! You massage this into your skin and then remove with a warm, damp cloth. I like this process so much better than attempting to splash my face with water under the faucet in an attempt to remove a bunch of extra product. The scent is both earthy and fruity all at once.

If you want to change up your skincare routine or are just ready for another bottle of Elemis cleanser, add this one to your cart!

Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner

The Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner is perfect for all of us that have sensitive skin. This calms and tones your skin by balancing your skins pH levels. It will leave your skin feeling fresh and radiant. It almost sounds too good to be true, but this stuff is amazing!

If you are using the full Elemis lineup, you will use this following your cleanser and moisturizer. This can also be used solo for a quick skin refresher.

Fireplace, vacuum, and skin products: I know, I was all over the place with my shopping list, but I am so happy with this month’s QVC haul! Their lineup of products is changing daily so check back often, and if you see something you have to have make sure to grab it before it disappears.

  • Love seeing all the Christmas decorations!

I just wanted to make a comment about your hair loss. I too was losing hair and everyone told me it was "covid hair" - hair loss after covid. But that didn't feel right to me. Made an appointment with a dermatologist and after many tests we found out that I have an auto-immune disease called LPP. So with medications, vitamins, and topicals my hair loss seems to have stopped and now we are trying to get it to regrow. I'm also seeing a specialist at the U of M in Minnesota who is one of the best in the world regarding hair loss. Just wanted you to to be thorough in your diagnosis - hair loss is a huge bummer! Of course, we know things could be much worse but it's okay to grieve losing our hair as females as it is part of our identity.

    • I feel like I truly am grieving the loss of my hair. Thank you for sharing your story. It is amazing how many different things can cause us women to lose our hair.

  • Love your home, you both design beautifully. I have a question, where did you get that beautiful rug that is in front of your fireplace? I love it and it would look good in my dining room.

  • Danielle you need Nutrafol. I lost a ton of hair after being hospitalized with Covid. Clumps. Clogged drains, hair everywhere. It totally works! It will take about three months to get back on track, but I swear it works! I take the Balance and stress adaptogen. You won’t be sorry.
