Verb Energy Bars – A 90 Calorie Snack

This post is written in collaboration with Verb Energy, Co.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

You guys know that I am always on the hunt for the best low calorie snacks.  Verb Energy bars have been all the rage over on social media for awhile now.  I’ve heard so many people talking about them over the last year or so that I became intrigued.  ESPECIALLY when I heard they only have 90 calories in each bar.  You cant beat that!

Have you tried Verb?  Well, I started doing some research to get all of the details of these little Verb Energy bars.  And, of course, ordered some.  When I find a great product, or in this case, a great treat, I need to share with all of my friends.

What are Verb Energy Bars?

Verb Energy, Co. has the coolest background story.  The company was created by three Yale College kids, back in 2016, from their dorm room, after they realized there has to be an easier way to get a caffeine boost at all hours of the night.  After 10 months and 127 failed recipes, they came up with a recipe they were all three happy with.  (You all know I would have given up way before then.  ???? )  And decided to call their creation Verb Bars.

Their packaging in the beginning was a simple Ziploc baggy.  They sold their Verb bars to college kids all around the campus and would receive texts for requested deliveries all hours of the day and night.  After running out of room in their dorm, they contacted a local bakery and cut a deal.  Long after they were done with their day, and the bakery was closed, they would work there until all hours of the night… making as many Verb Energy bars as they could.  You see where this is going!  ????

Their little 90 calorie Verb Energy business became so big that they revamped some things… including adding a website, a great marketing plan, and of course, new packaging.  ????    They are now PROFESSIONALS.  ????

Why I love Verb Energy Bars

Verb Energy bars are a small little delicious treat that give you a boost of caffeine.  We love to eat them around 2-3pm when both of us want our old lady naps.  ???? ???? ????   I swear, I can tell what time it is every day by THAT feeling. ????   Verb Energy bars have the same amount of caffeine as a shot of espresso.  But the caffeine source is from organic green tea, which means it’s longer-lasting and jitter-free.  They are vegan, gluten free, and dairy free.

Verb Energy bars come in several different flavors and they add a new flavor to the mix every now and then.  To tell you the truth, we love all of the flavors….  Salted Peanut Butter, Lemon Raspberry, Coconut Chai, Vanilla Latte, and Simply Cocoa.  Maple Blueberry and Strawberry Rose Hibiscus are ones we haven’t tried yet but the both sound DELICIOUS.  And will be in our next order.
