Thoughts on Why I haven’t Shared Here for Awhile

  1. Pam says:

I’m a relatively new follower and I’ll say… please keep this space! Bc Meta is fickle and one should always have a backup, particularly if this (content creating) is your income. Blog posts provide all the context for your projects – I plan to go back to the start and read!

    • Missy Duffy says:

I love the posts here! I am much more a fan of still photos than reels so this is perfect. I have always loved your stories because it’s being able to see a more personal side of you guys and your life which I really enjoy, and the posts of photos is where I would take more time to stare, admire and be inspired! The reels actually give me so much anxiety!🥴 But I know you all have to do them for the ig algorithm. Another reason I love the blog posts is that I often search to find various info you’ve shared. It’s just a pleasant experience all around! Sorry if there are typos. This is hard to do from my phone., I can’t always see what I’m typing!🤪

    • Danelle Harvey says:

hahah I get it. 🤓 And, I totally understand the reels thing. I feel the same way. I LOVE photos.

    • Danelle Harvey says:

THANK YOU for being here. And, you are correct. I love this space because it is mine.

  2. I love reading all about your finds and adventures in creating a beautiful comfortable home. I appreciate your style as I have tried to be a minimalist in my decorating but I just can’t. I end up adding several other pieces. You bring the coziness of your life into our lives.

    • Danelle Harvey says:

hahah SAME.. I’ve never tried to be a minimalist, but I will tell myself that I am going to thin things out and then they get thicker. Ha!

  3. Rose Maria Candia says:

Love your home and seeing your projects.

  4. Kim says:

I love these because of the still pictures I can study and the detail, so share away

  5. WJ Davis says:

Keep posting! Love following you and Deb on IG but especially love reading your Blog!

  6. Marisol says:

Please continue the blog. I enjoy your FB stories but by far prefer.reading and looking at pictures here

  7. Tina says:

I started out reading blogs way before iG. Loved the blogs and do miss them. So I’m happy that you’re still going to post on this platform! Love your home and all the work projects you and Deb do.

    • Danelle Harvey says:

THANK YOU. And me too. I used to have so many blogs that I followed. I want to get back to this.

  8. Tammie Goodwin says:

I’ve been following your social accounts since the rental. I feel like I’ve missed out on so much! I look forward to scrolling through this site to see all of you and Deb’s past (and future) adventures.
Still searching everywhere I can find for your kitchen paint colors (walls and cabinets) 😉

    • Danelle Harvey says:

Oh thank you. I miss this space so much. And, I promise to get all caught up here. Our wall colors are Sherwin Williams Pure White in a satin/matte finish and the trim is white right off of the shelf with no mixing in a semi gloss.

  9. Jenny says:

It’s important to have this place to post that you and only you have control over. At any time, those social media platforms where you share your projects could just shut off the juice!!

  10. LaDonna says:

I never tire of all your projects and ideas. I was most intrigued because I called my type of decor “woods and whites” before I knew that’s what you called yours. That’s what caught my fancy as we thought so much alike. You two are the most creative gals I know on lhere! You have a lot of my style and interests. I started following you before you well before you refurbished that little travel trailer that you sold. I was doing all those same types of things with my stuff, also. The best part for you is that you have a Deb who can also creat all your ideas and then you get to finish them! What team work! And you both are such workers and make things happen everyday! But it is your profession as well as your everyday living, so that means accomplishments! How rewarding! I worked in this type of profession for years, and now I get to set back in retirement and putter and enjoy and embrace my small space, continuing to do what I love with no commitments. I still have kept a few clients that I had when I worked , and decorate their homes for Christmas each year though. Keep up the good work…I usually follow you daily!

  11. Terri Wright says:

I love you guys! Thanks for sharing your what you love!

  12. Fawn Burke says:

I’m a new follower and have to say that I look forward to your posts every morning. I absolutely love your style and would duplicate it if I could. My current home has more of Southwest look because I live in the Palm Springs desert area but if I could change it I definitely would. Please continue doing what you do…I love it!!!

  13. Paula says:

I absolutely love your posts and have missed your ideas and home decor… please please continue!

  14. Donna Z says:

Love your content. Style, energy, your home ideas are my favorite! Please continue to post each day!

  15. Dana says:

I’ve been following since Winchester, I still love that house btw! You make me laugh all the time and you amaze me every day with all you do . Now that I’ve met you both from that wonderful Alaska experience, I feel like you are friends and I check in daily to see what you’re up to . Thanks for sharing as much as you do and I know it’s a lot of work! Happy Spring friends🌸🩷

    • Danelle Harvey says:

Oh Dana.. thanks so much for the kind words. And, thanks for sticking around. I miss my Alaska trip friends. We had so much fun.

  16. Lisa N says:

Love this space to refer back to. Like how you filled your garden planters and more.
I need the description you gave on how someone painted your fiberglass doors to look like wood. You described it in stories but it’s not saved. Things like that I like are nice to find here:)

    • Danelle Harvey says:

Well thank you. And, our painter simply used gel stain in a few colors and drug the brush through with the darker. He was a miracle worker.

  17. Darleene says:

My favorite to follow. Always something going on here and you two gals are entertaining and just so creative. Keep posting and letting us know whats new ✨

  18. Joanne Keeler says:

Yay! I first found you on this space during your Winchester days and I have loved every single project and every single post. Looking forward to all
    the rest to come!
