Several of you followed along with our Instagram stories when we visited the Springfield, Ohio, Extravaganza this week. I’ve gotten several messages stating that you want to see our haul. Although we left lots and lots of treasures behind, we brought a few antique finds home with us. Deb actually just said… “We COULD go back on Sunday to see if we can find anything else exciting.” I got a little excited when she said that. I do want to show you a few things we brought home with us. But some of our finds will have to wait for a big reveal… because… you know, I have to be all dramatical. ????
We were on the hunt for a few items and came home with really nothing we went looking for. BUT, that is the fun part about flea markets. You have no clue what you will find… especially at the Springfield, Ohio, Extravaganza. This flea market is held once a month but they have the big doozies (Extravaganza) in May and September. It is huge. We can’t even get through it all. If you’ve never been, you must go.
As soon as I saw these little painted sewing machine drawers, I knew I had to have them. They were a matching set and such a great price. I, also, knew exactly where I would put them.I love to keep a cute little set of drawers here by our coffee maker for our morning pills that I used to forget to take. This ensures that I don’t. It’s the first thing I see when I go to pour my coffee.
The guy who sold these had several sets but these were the only ones painted. I have several little sewing machine drawers in their original finish which I love but these caught my eye…. along with the cute hardware.
Stay tuned for more exciting antique finds from the Springfield, Ohio, Extravaganza. I have several goodies to show, including a project piece that we found. Which I happen to be REALLY excited about. Deb has some work to do. ????

They were in their original frames and we just put both sections together.
