OK… If you watch us on social media stories, you have already seen several videos of me chatting about the best estate sale we have ever been to. We took my dad along with us and he said the same thing. All three of us have never been to such a great sale. The lady was a collector of all things… many of the same things that I collect. She was also a hoarder. So the house was filled to the ceiling with “stuff”… I believe the lady in charge of the estate sale said it took her three weeks to clear enough room to even walk through. I found some great items to add to my collections and wanted to share my estate sale finds with you.
There was SOOOOOO MUCH at this estate sale and the prices were unbelievable. I think everything was priced from $1-$10 unless it was a bigger item. The antique pictures and mirrors ranged from $20-$40. But there was nothing there more than $40. So I really loaded up at those prices. Today I am sharing a few of the items, because, to be honest, there is so much that I am going to have to share in a few different posts.
If you love seeing antique finds from flea markets, yard sales, and estate sales, check out all that I have shared over the last several years here. A lot of the posts were the actual hauls and not the pieces actually decorated in our space.
I love to include the prices in my antique hauls but these are going to be estimated prices. Simply because there was so much at this sale that several things weren’t marked. The outside of this sale was just as packed as the inside of the house. This basket happened to be laying outside so the bottom is a bit worn. However, I love it here on top of our washer and dryer. It is wicker, probably 30″ long, and has canvas handles. I am not sure the price of this because I had an entire pile of items from outside and it was $40 for the whole stack. I would guess this was around $5.
I found all of these wooden kitchen utensils and potato mashers for $4 and under. If you collect anything like this, you know that they are pretty pricey in antique malls. I added them to my collection of them from the last 40 years. And, I still pick them up when I see them under $5.
Can you see a theme with $4? Ha! Most every crock and bowl was $4 unless they were on the bigger side and then they were $6. I had 2 of these from a previous haul that I just love. They look really cute with spring flowers, too. I have no clue what they were used for originally but I love the look of them.
I have a collection of celluloid hand mirrors that I have had for YEARS AND YEARS. I recently found a few wooden hand mirrors that I find so pretty with their worn patterns that I talked about in this post. This one is etched and unlike the others that I have, but for $4, I thought it was perfect to add to my collection.
I only recently started collecting these wooden shoe forms simply because I found a few from a sale for $1… Yes, you read that correctly, they were $1. These were anywhere from $2-$4 so, of course, I grabbed them. The worn wood adds some warmth to our shelves here in the dining room.
This is another fairly new collection of mine. I found a whisk broom several months ago and I don’t even remember where I found it. I’m wondering if someone gave it to me, because I usually remember where I found everything and what I paid. These little whisk brooms were found in the sheds and I believe they were $1. I love how they look on this little peg shelf here in the laundry room.
This is one of Deb’s favorite collections. And I think it’s still considered a collection since we only have 3 items in it. Crock type items that are brown and cream with black lettering speak to Deb. She found this little syrup jug on the right and handed it to me. Ha. And, it was only $4, so that was a great price.
Stay tuned for more photos of our haul from the best estate sale in the land. I will try to get that posted in the next few days.

I can’t believe the price on those crock bowls! I’ve been on the hunt for several years and I finally picked up a bigger one for $25. That’s the cheapest I’ve seen them in my area
Yeah, the price can vary depending on location. I'm glad you got one! They are so fun to collect!
Great haul, I love when an Estate sale adventure is productive. I am currently downsizing and have some wood shoe forms if you want them. Just shoot me an email on where to send them or if you want a picture first. I have a pair of baby shoes and 2 others that are hard to find.
