Backcountry – Our Favorite Work-out Gear

This post is sponsored by Backcountry and ShopStyle.  All opinions are my own.

If you haven’t noticed, Deb and I LOVE casual and functional apparel. We’ve been wearing our “active clothes” a ton lately because of all the work we’ve been doing on the cottage. These days, working out is more important than it’s ever been… whether you’re getting back into a gym or still staying active from home.

Backcountry is a premium outdoor and lifestyle retailer that carries our go-to workout brands. Like us, this company truly believes anyone is capable of enjoying outdoor experiences leading to higher activity levels.  We LOVE Backcountry so we grabbed a few great pieces this month, along with some exercise equipment to get ready for the summer months.

SHOP SOME OF MY FAVORITES FROM BACKCOUNTRY

EXERCISE APPAREL:

Sweatshirts (Recycled Fleece Hoodie, Varley SweatshirtHoodless Fleece Sweatshirt): All 3 of these sweatshirts are must-haves if you’re in need for new cozy tops. They are all unique in their own ways and come in multiple color options.

Fleece Sweatpants: To match the hoodless fleece sweatshirt above, these sweatpants are a must if you’re in the market for a new set. I love the versatile black color, however, it comes in a variety of options.

North Face Long Sleeve Top: I love this long-sleeve top from North Face because it’s super lightweight and great for layering underneath sweatshirts and sweaters. It comes in lots of different colors and is only $34 which is a great price for a high-quality shirt like this one.

Sneakers (T3 Tennis Shoe, North Face Trail Running Shoe): These tennis shoes are some of my all-time favorites because they’re so comfortable and wearable. They are both appropriate sneakers for hiking, exercising, and running errands in so you’ll definitely be getting your cost per wear out of either pick.

EXERCISE EQUIPMENT:

Pushup Stands: If you’re like me and many others who have been working out from home, these pushup stands are perfect for you. I love these because they really have really improved my pushup form and are super helpful when it comes to exercise.

Training Mount: This thing is SO cool… I never even knew it existed until I saw it on Backcountry and am really glad I have one of these. It’s a wall mount made of super durable steel to create a strong foundation for workout straps. Such a cool gadget to have when working out from home.

Suspension Trainer: If you’re getting the training mount above, you have to have straps and suspensions to go with it so I highly recommend this set! It’s a practical and low profile in-home workout system built for everyone and also allows you to mix up resistance for any type of workout you’ll ever need.

Training Slam Ball: This exercise ball is actually filled with sand and is 100% non-bouncy. It has an easy to grip rubber shell making it the ultimate weighted workout ball.
